Food noise is not quieted because you feel sick. You don’t understand food noise.

Facts. I feel like this dude is trying to use scare tactics. Food noise is gone, and suddenly you’re not seeking food, especially when you’re not actually hungry.

I've been taking Trulicity for several years and in the last 6 weeks I've felt like my last meal is always in my throat. I've lost 55 pounds. Lately I can't get motivated to do anything. Thanks for this information. I guess I need to talk with my endocrinologist about other options.

But you'll find Carnivore easier to stick to, as no carbs to stay addicted to, if you struggle with moderation!

Hello Dr. Bikman. I believe semaglutides stimulate the pancreas to produce more insulin. I was wondering how people lose fat if insulin is elevated by these compounds. Is there a workaround that the body uses? Thanks for your work. Have a good one.

@@cherrypieforbreakfast1499he’s making general assumptions of what it’s like to be on a GLP-1. He has no idea what food noise actually is. Granted, anyone on a GLP med should adapt some lifestyle changes, but he’s not really looking at any real data.

I very much admire Dr. Bikman. Also, I’ve been on a GLP-1 for 6 months and I can’t say how grateful I am for this option! Due to health issues, my weight ballooned up this last year to over 50lbs extra. I am pre-diabetic and was dangerously close to becoming full fledged diabetic, had a fatty liver and my autoimmunes out of control, I just felt like garbage. If I’m honest, I mostly also still feel like garbage on the GLP-1 but not as bad 😂 The fatigue for me has been overwhelming. I make sure my sleep is good, drink plenty of water and electrolytes, and try to eat more fiber rich and nutrient dense foods during this time especially. I’ll begin weight resistance and other exercise as I wean back down in dosage. I do want to be off of it, and insurance only covered 6 months of it. I did do compounds initially but they might be going away soon. I have about 10 more pounds to go to my goal weight, which will be higher as I build muscle. It has helped reverse the effects of the metabolic syndrome and lifted me out a hopelessness, feeling that no matter how much exercise or how clean my diet was, my weight just compounded on and on. Only 1% of those on GLP-1 have serious side effects and much can be done to mitigate the risks by certain habits. Best thing I ever did for myself.

Maybe if you start at the highest dose you feel those side effects he is talking about. Staying at a low dose and having lifestyle changes seem to work just fine for many.
