I have always noticed and admired Jacares takedowns and wondered how n why hes so successful with them and what is different about em...its the grip with the right hand! I love finding the smallest details! It makes the biggest difference!

work top game. Work guard. Work take downs. Work escapes. Work on strengthening. Work on stamina. Go hard but don't break your training partner's. Train judo and wrestling IT WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN YOU REALIZE. Not just for take down's but understanding the body mechanics/body control. Last but not least don't underestimate anybody. Have fun.

JACARE is the guy who I respect the most. I don't quite know why, but I have the utmost respect for this guy. Maybe the broken arm victory over Roger.

I have a friend who was a wrestler in highschool and college. while teaching me some takedowns he said he's only ever seen over the shoulder throw work once. it's not very practical in actual competition.

The Gi plays a major role in throwing people. Also if you're throwing someone is pays to have a much lower center of gravity, aka being shorter. I look at khabib, he has amazing traditional wrestling but also world class throwing but still prefers wrestling.

You’re talking about seoi nage? It’s one of the mainstay throws of judo. There’s literally thousands of seoi nage highlights on KZbin. A wrestler wouldn’t really know much about this throw.

@@phobowl But in BJJ is risky , if not done quick and right, you get your back exposed immediately

For people who have the right body type and put in the practice, I have seen it be very successful. It's not great for everyone like a double or single, which everyone learns.

I went to a jacare seminar and he left after I took him down with one of these moves. His friends took my buddy’s phone who was recording. Not cool man
