High barrier shelter clearly didn't work or bring people in for treatment(what most places are doing now). The government also can't enforce anything legally unless there is enough resources and shelter bed capacity for the homeless. Low barrier shelters are the best proven option to get people treatment and out of homelessness. They need to build a lot more of these to match the capacity of the homeless population so the government can finally have the authority to enforce no camping on streets and to get people into shelters.

I can't afford Medicare as a single mother with a disabled child because they I make to much. I work I help the economy but people that do drugs that commit crimes can have tiny home, free Medicare. Ebt. What is wrong with this

This is what always happens. The government makes promises to residents in the area about how a facility like this will be run to ensure no negative impact on the community. Then they can't fill the spaces because drug bums don't want those rules. Then the government reneges on their promises.

My homie just got in that tiny home pad. We take a bottle in and party on the weekends in his little pad. It's a cool place dawg he likes it there
