This is “Walking Foot” day! If you are new to using a domestic sewing machine walking foot or if you have specific questions pertaining to the Bernina 1080 Special sewing machine walking foot, this video may help.

Great video, the thing is this style walking foot only provides pressure and low friction to help the upper fabric layer to move at the same rate as the lower fabric layer, the feed dogs provide all the movement to both fabric layers.
