Omg! This was a brilliant tutorial! I was so anxious that my machine made that initial noise when it turned on as well as the few seconds in took to come on. I was forever searching for a video where I could hear it turn on but everyone either had music during boot up or had the machine already turned on. So that you for being so detailed! I've watched your tutorial through all the way to the end, and I've learned so much! This was just brilliant!

Robyn thank you for this tutorial today as I remember you telling me you had done some so watched it early this morning. Busy sewing my dress later today and the blimmin thing did exactly what yours did so played it over again and again and finally managed to fix the error - mine didnt have anything stuck in it either. Must say i felt like a stiff drink when I had finally fixed it. Thanks - Lynne

Thank you Robyn. Have just received my machine and was concerned about the noise it made. I now feel brave enough to have a go at threading up the needle. So much better seeing somebody show how it is done rather than reading it in a tutorial. You made it all look so simple!

A great tutorial, I just bought this machine this week, your tutorial was a god send. I still haven’t grasped the threading though can’t get the hang of it yet. You make it look so easy. Going back to the shop for a lesson. Certain things weren’t explained to me but you touched on them thank you. My first time of sewing those two spool looking things came up, I hadn’t a clue what to do. I re threaded the machine and it seemed ok! Thank you once again. I can’t wait to watch buttons holes.

Thank you for a great tutorial. New machine for me. To put the presser foot on, does the pin on which the presser foot goes raise up to allow attaching or do I have to raise it up with the free arm system.

I had the older version and upgraded to 475 qe. I can't find the inbuilt bold flower decorative design on it, pls where can I find it or what do I do?

Seems like that error must happen an awful lot if happens just during a quick demo. Wonderful demo but I’ve heard a lot of people have an issue with some error that requires all those steps every time it comes up.

You can purchase a stylus from your local Bernina Store.

I bought a B475 Quilters Edition. It did not come with a stylus pen. Is that standard? Where can I purchase one?

Yes you can use shirring elastic. I zigzag over it using the no 6 foot.

Your machine will change to the correct foot for the stitch you are using The foot display is under the tension display, top left of your screen. Happy Sewing.

The machine sensors must have thought something wasn't quite right which is great as its stops any major jam ups.
