I've been sewing for 60 years and until your video showed me how to use those thread spools properly, I've just been winging it! Thank you so much for that!

No problem! Maybe you can help me with an issue with my 830 (the embroidery version) the extra thread tensioner that's used when embroidering keeps falling off. I've paid for one very expensive repair already. Wondering if whatever that whole unit is needs to be replaced. I'm in Ottawa Canada so repair options are limited.

I was so confused when you put the coats & Clark on there. I was like screaming at the screen…”No it goes on the vertical holder”. Then you told us. Guess you are trying to see who is paying attention ☺️

Thank you again for keeping us informed about our Berninas. Your instructions are spot on. Are those thread path inserts available for the 475qe and the 790 plus yet? You mentioned they were coming g soon to help hold the thread tension?

I have an 530, and my foam/silicone pad disintegrated. My Bernina shop in FL told me I they can not get those for replacement. Are you able to get them? If so what is the cost? Thank you Jeff, I always learn so much from your videos.

Are they proprietary to Bernini or can they work on other model pins too?

Hi Bernina Jeff. Thanks for your videos. I am hoping you can tell me if I need to use a different oil for my 770 and my 350. I have purchased your oil for my 770. Can I use the same oil for my 350? Thanks so much. Judie with Buckleberrie Quilts

I am having a problem putting the small cap on to the metal spindle of my 590 machine. Could it be because I have the air conditioner on and door closed. I am baffled.
@Carol_Sews2 жыл бұрын
I use mainly my artista 170, which I love. The small cone-shaped end cap doesn’t fit on that machine’s spool pin. And the spool pin isn’t long enough to allow for the use of a foam pad. (I have the pad and pin from a newer Bernina machine that I rarely use.) The 170 machine didn’t even come with them. I just started using Aurifil thread. Which end cap do you suggest for my 170 with the Aurifil spools, the medium or large cap? Which direction should it face?
@canadeeana2 жыл бұрын
you can always use wool felt and make your own thread pad, like the foam one, to cushion the spool! just a thought!!
