Join me for this quick episode of the Bernina L 460 Serger Manual - I'm going to show you how to use the Spool Stabilizers properly (Yes, sometimes you insert it up side down to stabilizer cone thread). I'm also going to show you how to clear the needle and looper threads from the needle plate and the parts under the needle plate after a thread break.

Does the L460 have a swing out presser foot? My 25 year old 2000 DE had this capability.

No, I'm sorry it doesn't... (My Elna 704D had a needle bar that pivoted up to thread them... very convenient) ..also sorry for the delayed response!

Needles need they be at same level?

No... The tips of the needles are not equal... The left needle is lower than the right needle to allow mental parts and threads to form the stitch without getting tangled up. Thanks for watching!
