His development in Enoch Village and his interaction with Shierke in the City were so excellently done, it was perfect writing for this goofy kid with a big dream to come to terms with growing up and understanding his limits, and learning to care more for his comrades, but after they all got on the boat, his development seems to have taken a complete backseat and he's back to his rude schoolboy antics. same thing happened with Puck after the Conviction arc, and it makes me sad :

Take Enoch village, he didn't seem to be too heavily effected by that whole situation, which makes sense he's dealt with serious shit already, but I personally think that when Morgan saved isdro Morgan should have died. That could've had a huge impact. Aswell as that the pirates could've been way better, especially the captain. He could've been an allegory for isdro himself since it seems they kinda had a small rivalry. I would've given him a backstory similar to isisdros, a poor peasant kid growing up alone on the streets in the harsh world dreaming of becoming strong so they don't have to run and hide from everything. Instead the captain found something to protect and chose to chase his power hunger in the form of the sea god's curse and lost the very thing he sought the power for. A dark reflection of Isidro's desires. Idk I overthink things
