Cool overview of this trail system, haven't ridden here but now have a good idea of what to expect. Can tell the builders have a lot of fun here with all the custom wooden features with their own named signs. Nice job on those skinnies, I would definitely be skipping a lot of those "stump rollercoasters" ones though

Yeah dude, it is no Split Rock, but has its own charm. Wooden features were definitely not like most others you see, they did great making each one unique in its own way. Yeah those stumpers, total derailleur killers!

Yeah bud! Good on yah actually stopping and conquering that stump feature. Too many times we all say... ah next time!

Thanks! There was really no reason to skip that one…. Ended up being one of my favorite ones there as well!

I haven’t ridden that trail since last year. Looks like a lot of those skinnies are new

They definitely have a fun assortment of wooden features, worth checking out again for sure!

My back yard. Im 5 minutes away. I like the flow. Twenty six miles of trails is nothing to sneeze at. Monty Python took me awhile to master. Otb face plant 😮.

Oh no, face plant off of Monty Python doesn’t sound fun at all…😬 I’d imagine you had to talk yourself back onto that the next time around!

Absolutely. And a smaller bike. Biggest change was my wife made me promise not to do stuff like that again without someone there to end my suffering. She cares about me 😜

It’s good to have someone who cares 😂

This is a place I make the trip to ride once a season. The wood features are fun but the rest of the trail is pretty casual riding.
@robonbikes4 ай бұрын
Casual is a good way to put it, there are definitely some fun sections out there, I wish they could be extended a little longer, but just not enough elevation. I was elated by 2 teeter totters!

Love the features and LOVE skinnies!!!! They are really a lot wider than I thought they’d be.
@robonbikes4 ай бұрын
Some cool stuff there! Yeah other than the stump skinnies, nothing is super narrow.

I agree with the flowy sections coming to an abrupt end. So many times I thought "if they just removed this tree and this weird turn they could have had some nice flow here!" I also turned too wide onto the bridge over the creek and fell right into the drink last year. Would not recommend. lol

🤣 Oh man that doesn’t sound fun, but I could definitely see that happening there!

Live in Monticello and love this trail. I always LOL at people who say it's "too far". Literally 15 min from Maple Grove.

Cool stuff at these trails!

People who live "in the city" think anything ten minutes away is a long way. I used to live in Big Lake and that was an eternity for people in the city...now I live 30 minutes from Sioux Falls and I may as well be in Minneapolis for how far people think I am from there...ridiculous.
