Nob is insane - first time in the car, one warm-up lap and one attack lap and he gets practically the same time as the development driver, to be later beaten by only 0,5 sec on fresh tires. Man's still got it!

Nob honestly still has more than a few years left in his tank, which is crazy considering he's already 51 years old and yet he is still just as fast as ever be it for Best Motoring or for the Miku team in Super GT 😆
Thank you for the English subtitles, this is my dream. I can't wait to attain my engineering degree within the next few years so I can hopefully pursue hydrogen engine research with Toyota!

This is the most exciting development in engine technology for a long time. I look forward to buying a Toyota Hydrogen engine car.
This car gives me hope ! I literally keep watching this video over and over again because i can't believe how good it sounds and how hard it goes ! I was so pleased to receive the notification this morning with this car in the thumbnail ! ありがとうございます!
NOB is quite incredible, driving only 0.5secs slower with 2 attack laps on a car he never drove before, than the test driver who has probably driven the car for a long time, and it was also not his first attack laps on this circuit in this car. And Masa, the test driver ,is certainly not slow in any way, NOB is actually just really good, in my opinion.

He is...i think more fast than Orido

As i see Taniguchi's Driving style is the Safest and Cleanest Driving Style among all of them & He is incredibly Fast!
I like many others absolutely agree that a car is supposed to have a sound and a vibrational sensation -which an electric vehicle (EV) can never deliver. Electrification (EV) is only good for buses and trains! Thank you Japan and Toyota for saving the 'driving experience'!
I hope Toyota is able to get other companies on board to make the fuel available everywhere. We need to make small changes that do not disrupt people's lives. Solar panels on buildings, hydrogen fuel in ICE cars, and using less energy in your daily routine. These things all add up to a sustainable future.
Thank you for the ENG subtitles!! This brings my heart so much joy! Not only has this project come this far in less than 1 year of development, there's no need for engines designed specifically for hydrogen as it's only the fuel tank and injector system that needs to be changed from a regular petrol engine. Surely this means that performance aftermarket companies could just design and sell injectors for hydrogen conversions of existing petrol cars in a few years? Imagine how much more efficient this technology could be in 5 years time? People might argue that hydrogen as a fuel source will be too expensive for most people, but I see no reason why the government can't subsidise the cost of hydrogen the same way they're already subsidising the cost of EVs?

Have you ever heard of inflation? Who is going to pay for all new hyrdogen fuel stations? For you americans to get it cheaper as a fuel - you will have to stop irrational fear of nuclear energy and support it, only then you can get hydrogen price decrease...

@@divinehatred6021 Hydrogen fuel stations already exist in the US. Major cities are in part powered with hydrogen. Some states here have fuel subsidies for up to $25,000 when you buy a hydrogen vehicle to mitigate the fuel cost. The Mirai has 35k rebate in Cali. Also we don't share the same fear for nuclear energy. We are literally the largest supplier of nuclear energy in the world.
