when Shanes break is on,,he cannot be touched!! Many of players have complained about it before. They think he is cheating but yet they cant make a ball on their attempt on same table and time. I can understand why they get upset though. But he is not cheating.
@mjagielinski2 жыл бұрын
If skewing the template slightly to the right is not cheating, then I agree, but if the rules state the template needs to be straight, then I believe he is getting away with a lot in this match.
@xTCxSTEADY2 жыл бұрын
I mean yes he's a dominant breaker and I'm a fan. But if you watch Dr Dave's breakdown of the match that was the biggest one in question of svb vs jason shaw. He does point out the spacing between a ball and consistently dropping the same ball. I don't think players should rack their own racks to prevent any of tampering they should have a referee in all tournaments.

I'm curious if it's the rack... he should have let Shane rack and just before Shane breaks, stop him, inspect the rack (to see if he's leaving any gaps or not racking perfectly straight)... then take his break stick and break them to see the results. Not saying he's doing anything wrong, just crazy how consistently he's making 3 to 6 balls. Makes me wonder what he's doing so much differently than everyone else.

It looks like shanes template is skewed slightly to the right on every one of his breaks. Anyone else notice this? Combined with his cue ball angle from the kitchen, this seems to help the 1 track to the upper corner more consistently as well as the 2nd row balls to the sides. Also the bottom left ball tracks 4 rails around to the bottom left corner. You can notice him tracking the 1 with his eyes mostly on his breaks. If there is nothing in the rules about doing that, then hats off to shane for breaking smarter than his opponents. You can compare Ko's template in his practice break with shanes cue after the match ended. His template looks staight compared to shanes templates in the match. With a straight template the 2nd row balls tend to come up high on the sides just barely.
@whitelion2042 жыл бұрын
No it's an illusion. The template probably moved by the balls. I screenshotted when the balls were on the template and both Ko's and Shane's look exactly the same.
@thomasbay49182 жыл бұрын
Ko had 3 breaks total, if you count the practice break after the game. Not a lot to go off of there... Also, you can't compare Ko's template break to all of Shane's in-game breaks.
