I like the blazer brass ammo I've used thousands of rounds of it over the past 10 years and I've never had a misfire or failure to eject. My second go to practice ammo is Winchester red and white box I've been using it longer than the blazer with very good results.

Blazer seems to be my favorite so far. I’ve heard bad things about Winchester white box

I can tell you this much. I just put two boxes of Academy Sports Monarch ammunition through my Hellcat today since it was super cheap and affordable, and while I did not get a single Jam, that crap couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. That's the first cheap FMJ ammo I ever put through my Hellcat that had such wild inconsistencies that even from 45 ft away I was getting weird drops of sometimes a couple feet and I promise it was not me. I have had great luck with magtech, PMC bronze, American Eagle, Blazer, and even Winchester white box. But I think I'm staying away from all Steelcase ammo from now on. I'd rather spend a few extra dollars just to be sure I'm getting relatively consistent ammunition

Yeah a lot of people say the ammo doesn’t make a difference but it does! And yeah I stay away from steel ammo since my local range doesn’t let you shoot with it

@@PhatTactical I've heard some people say the same thing but they just haven't gotten ahold of the right ammo, or wrong ammo if you will LOL. I mean just seeing unburnt powder spray out of the barrel tells a lot. I would imagine if I didn't have a Hellcat or some other renowned reliable handgun, this Monarch stuff would have given me trouble cycling properly.

i got into guns in 2020. Started to use Blazer Brass 115 from Academy and it was a smart move. Went to winchester and got a smoke cloud from all 200 rounds i got, never went back to them. Today its Blazer Brass and Monarch from Academy, all 100% fire rate.

I'm use to Super Val reloads, Blazer Brass and Fiocchi which I really like. Never ran Magtech but researching it now! Taurus G3c and just got the GX4 Carry toro... both run great!

I like Hornady although I believe they are considered self defense rounds, instead of target/practice rounds I always liked how the nickel plate casing looks😅

Just remember certain ammos can and will shoot different in different guns or setups. I just wanted to show how each one felt to me with these 2 guns…but each ammo kinda shot the same way in both guns. I use blazer more than anything and Magtech 2nd

Very good video, those Fiocchi suppose to emulate your defensive carry ammo so it make sense they kick harder. I would like to know know if you noticed a significant difference in cleanness/dirtiness between each ammo.

I recently got one... it's really nice with a great trigger! I also have a G3c and I really like that too... the trigger is very different, it's the wall late but I'm use to it.

For the price I like the blazer too but it seems dirtier than the others. Whereas Fiocchi seems the cleanest.

Fiocchi runs great for me and I really like it but I swear there's smoke in the air when I fire it. Virtually zero with Super Val reloads and Blazer Brass.

I’d like to see you shoot the ammo at different targets not just the same one for the same ammo. You might be shooting the upper left and lower left targets more accurately 🤷‍♂️ Just the way the mind works sometimes.

That’s actually a good point..I do shoot lower targets a little more off I’ve noticed..the felt recoil of course is the same

You ALWAYS HAVE YOUR FINGER ON THE TRIGGER, even when racking the gun. Exactly NOT how it should be. You lower the gun after each shot - NO FOLLOW THROUGH. You relax your grip after each shot, then tighten it again. Obviously not a certified instructor.

I’m 63 years old, I’ve been shooting since I was ten… when I want to see accuracy and exact performance, it’s bench rest, or a bag rest, or it’s truly a waste of time. Takes “you” and your shooting skills out of the equation as much as possible. Peace brother, keep it up, I NEVER stop learning. The “experts” usually need a more open mind! @@drewpritchett4213lol I agree about the bench rest or bag. My take on it, is I’m showing the accuracy in a less controlled manner with me, a newish shooter. Saying hey,. How will this particular gun shoot with just me behind the trigger and you could easily say hey if he’s shooting this good or bad, I think I the viewer can do better myself OR from a bench. Make sense?

I agree with ProspectingMonkey. Your evaluations were accurate and detailed. I also will be returning to your videos. One suggestion; Learn to pronounce the name of whatever you are evaluating. Your constant sarcastic mispronunciation and comments each time you mentioned Fiocchi only served to demean your otherwise very good video. Hopefully, you accept this as it is meant to be, Constructive rather than demeaning.

Bad review, you should shoot each brand ammo from each gun, I know that’s more rounds, but every gun has a temper to a particular brand of ammo, saying that one brand is more accurate than the other when you didn’t shoot that same ammo from every firearm is a dud review.
