*Honest Thoughts* - I think people that are continuously judging the music are not focused on the actual content. Listen, the music fits the purpose. Of course, other types of music could work too. Let's just appreciate what this dude is doing for the Community of people wanting to be more productive with their lives. He is also extremely dedicated to this journey. You can see how passionate he is about being productive through all of his content. The fact that Productivity isn't being talked about as much in 2024 which is sad to see in all honesty; this dude is carrying this! The music is fine. Stop hating! Anyway, I really appreciate this video. It's another AWESOME addition to your content, Franceso. (I hope I remembered your name correctly) Anyway, keep up the incredible work dude! May I ask when the TOP APPS of 2023 video is coming too? ❤

One thing I’d like to add about Actions is that it is one of the few that has a deadline and start date feature 😅
@erikaso_10 ай бұрын
That was one of the premises of Things 3 at the time that really caught my eye-it captured a Deadline and a Do date, which kept it really simple as opposed to having to CONSTANTLY move the Due date later, then having to type the ACTUAL due date in the notes to remember when the deadliest deadline is…

6:12 It’s good to see Microsoft To Do on the list. On its own, it is basic in functionality. Together with Outlook and it’s My Day panel, it becomes a useful time-blocking tool. I also like the Assigned to me list that shows tasks from Planner plans. But I do want better filters for that list.
@iamakash_11 ай бұрын
In my honest opinion, it stands out as the best option due to its absence of advertisements, lack of pop-ups to buy this or that, and the availability of a native app rather than a web app. And also It makes me laught that some apps here in the list just charge to show notification and remainder lol. From a privacy perspective, I find it preferable to entrust my metadata and IP address to Microsoft, a well-established company, rather than to newer, less-known entities

I somehow can’t find what I really need, An robust app easy for beginners and gets more use when you learn more, In which I’m able to share them for other friends, whom are trying a to do list for the first time, to add on their personal lists. And be able to download attachments. A necessity is to attach some specific PDFs to a specific card and specific checklists. So here is what I’m doing I’m studying for final rerun due the next 40 days. - 3 modules, each have a theoretical and practical exams. - Both exams are on the same day. - Both have curriculum selections. - Theoretical exam has MCQs section and written section. With their selections and pdfs - Practical, ditto.

Can you list to-do apps by ease of adding new items. And if they have a web app (or browser extension)? I hear Things 3 is really awesome at being able to quickly add an item but I'm an Android user. I do have a personal iPad I use for work, but work in an enterprise environment and can't install applications on My work computer, so it would be nice to know if I can manage my list via browser extension. I have Todoist, but find the UI overly complicated. Love your content, keep them coming!

You always leave out a lot of TickTick’s features, like the Eisenhower Matrix and pomodoro timer + white noise, not to mention the entire section it has for Markdown notes (and creating sticky notes). I know you can’t do a complete rundown of everything in an app, but it’s weird to kinda boil TickTick down as the one that’s a good calendar all-rounder when at this point it’s more a general productivity all-rounder (that also happens to be great at task management).

Good vid, thanks, but a couple of things. 1. If there are 250+ to do list apps so a LOT of free ones, personally I can't see why anyone would want/need to pay money for one! So maybe separate vids (or more clarity) for free & paid-for apps would be helpful. Also, most of your vid shows the PC apps rather than the phone apps. In today's world won't most people be updating their to do list on their phone on the move, rather than sitting down at a desk & booting up a PC/laptop. That's so '90s! So maybe separate vids for the office workers sitting at desks tapping on their PCs & mobile/personal users who control their lives 100% through their phone apps would be useful. Thanks
@toolfinderhq11 ай бұрын
This is merely more of a hook, whilst I've tried 250+, of course a lot of them aren't strong solutions like you say. I'd say around 100 are competitive.

🤷♂️ How do you leave Google's Tasks off the list? Just the fact that it is Google and it directly integrates with Google Assistant should automatically put it on the list. I'm not saying it's an amazing app but it's certainly as good or better than Microsoft To Do.
@MW-pb2gf9 ай бұрын
Google Tasks is in NO way better than Microsoft Todo. I’ve tried them both out (I’m a TickTick user, mind), and while Todo still isn’t on par with Wunderlist despite how much it’s copied, at least you can create folders and sublists and have (to an extent) smart lists, and it’s easier to view like notes and subtasks etc. Google Tasks isn’t a task manager, which is the point of this roundup; it’s more your basic pencil and paper checklist, just as an app.
