Awesome lesson & your tone & vibrato sounds just like Blackmore on the song "Lazy" from Deep Purple's "Machine Head"...he is using this same scale! I've finally noticed that you "top wrap" your Les Paul!
@rustysguitar17 ай бұрын
@@gearmeister I love me, some Ritchie, Blackmore, Guitar! I like top wrapping those strings for a little less tension, and I like to rest the palm of my hand on the bridge. And it feels better to me that way. I really appreciate the comment. Catch you later buddy.👍

@@rustysguitar1 Very cool, now I know that we're Blackmore fans & my goodness we've got a lot in common! I've got a black beauty within my 30+ guitar collection! I've tried top wrapping & I really didn't see much difference but we probably have a slight difference in where we normally place our right hand.

You’re welcome! Yes, improvising is at the heart of most guitar players. And the most fun. Thanks a lot for checking out my videos. Happy new year.👍

Cool stuff, Rusty! Lovin' the rockin' sound! You're such a good teacher. It makes a big difference: you can make a BIG sound, and then you show how "easy" it is. (It's "easy" but it takes practice!) Also lovin' the guitars you're usin'. (I wish I had even one of them, esp one that's light weight, cuzza my neck problems, lol.) And also lovin' that you have "The Good Book" in the background, under the light...even though you don't call attention to it. We all know it's there. Because, since it is what it is, it speaks VOLUMES by itself, just being there! 😅 thanks again for 'nother great lesson! Rock on! 👌 👍 🤪
