@Bob & Brad Hi! Love your videos, they already helped me a lot when I had another issue last year. You guys are amazing! Really helps that you're so funny too and keep this light-hearted for all of is that are in physical pain. ❤ The other I thought I sprained an ankle. No fractures. But I think my ankle is actually okay. And that instead I hurt maybe extensor digitorum brevis and lower extensor retinalcum. (Just googled what's in that area where it hurts.) My swelling and pain are on the top to the outside part of my foot and when I push my toes towards me, they're okay, no issues, but when I gently push them down, the 2 toes next to the big one (just those 2) hurt and are tense. Do you have a video for that kind of injury? Any advice? My doctor wasn't helpful at all. Only told me there were no fractures and didn't even tell me what it was. Also, I only had X-rays done and the examination was 3 quick pinch/touches around my ankle. Help? 🙏

I'm able to drive and hop up stairs and scoote down stairs to get to the car. No pain but have been taking MSM supplements have helped and added multiple vitamin to the daily routine. Next doctor appointment is in 4 weeks so I hope it's good by then. Sucks I'm a stay at home Dad and now my wife as to get everything done I was doing. Good luck in the journey fellow broken folks.

My foot got rolled back completely while climbing down the stairs and I had to take complete rest for about a month wearing Air cast boot. Now from the last 15 days I have been trying to walk but can only limp. Fortunately, I have saved this video. Now, I have tried these exercises and it has a complete positive affect on my sprain. Thanks so much--some much more interesting and challenging exercises than I've seen elsewhere. I broke my ankle in 3 places about 10 months ago and because of an infection, having a second surgery to remove the hardware and my incision dehisced, I was only able to begin range of motion and strengthening exercises about a month ago. Although I've made progress, it is very slow. I'm worried that, with the amount of time that's passed, I may not get back my full range of motion. (I'm 70 years old...). I'm really working at it, and I'm starting to see some progress, but it's very slow. If I concentrate, I can walk normally but my steps are pretty short. I know everyone's different but how much time should I expect before I might be able to have my range of motion at least somewhat back to normal? As you might imagine, the ankle is very very stiff. Kind of disheartening...but I'm not giving up. Thanks again.

Thanks for the great advice Bob and Brad! With a recent mild sprain (after a fracture and losing an ankle ligament in an injury 2 years ago which leaves the ankle vulnerable) I started your range of movement (sitting) exercises at day 6 after my new injury swelling had resolved and am starting the standing exercises and trying to walking normally on the flat in a good brace at day 10. It feels great to move little again ♡

I am terribly shocked that the Ortho doc I dealt with does not know how to advise me on rehab after a cast removal for my fracture. He seems to think I should be able to instantaneously start walking, as if the muscles and soft tissues weren't affected. My foot is stuck in a stiffened painful flexed position from wearing the cast. I have to seek out help from this and other channels and find my own physiotherapist.

Can I do this exercises after ORIF surgery on left ankle? Would really appreciate your answer, thank you.

You can yes, however please wait until you've healed from your surgery or your physician tells you it's time to start rehabbing. We don't want you to do this too soon and if you do it and it causes new or more pain, please discontinue the exercises immediately.
