The amount of torque on those drive chains and sprockets and bearings must be huge.That machine is pushing a lot of snow.

Would love to know more about what it is like in the cab and accessory options, like heating and a trailer. Carrying capacity? Could I bring a Russian bear tent and provisions for a week long trip for how many people? Would be super cool to have a pto that could be used as a rope tow for skiing, wench, and whatever. Such cool little things. They get a bad rap for tearing up the ground in wilderness areas, but on snow? What is not to like?

There does nor have to be music playing 100% of the time. I want to hear what the vehicle sounds like.
I am always surprised to hear people say that Argos on tracks are not good in snow. It is true that they suck if you try to steer them and one side begins to spin. So just stop and make yourself a nice wide pad and then turn the Argo and keep going. We only run into problems when someone cranks the steering really hard.

I watch a lot of KZbin videos and I have to say this one is great! you guys are so cool. I grooved to the tunes while busting a gut to your sound affects. I live in Williams lake BC (Go Canada!) and I want to get a snowboat ! That argo was just floating on that snow! I wish you all the best and thanks for sharing .

That is the best traction I have seen so far out of any track vehicle. They must have some special winter rubber like we use on our cars in the winter snow tires that's what it has to be because there's no way that vehicle is going through that thick snow without any trouble at all. Awesome vehicle awesome tracks

Plastic studded tracks on my Argo 6x6
@keepithd20105 жыл бұрын
@@ImBoones Regardless if it has metal studs or plastic studs the rubber compound has to be formulated like a winter tire 4 these rubber tracks to have that amount of traction on the snow and ice.

You need an accessories light bar on that thing. The front brush guard is blocking out the headlight placement. It's amazing what an LED bar does for an ATV or SxS or an Argo even LoL. I use one on my ATV for plowing. Because the plow blocks some of the lights.

Hi Adam, Our Argo is a 2013, 750HDI 8x8. We've had no breakdowns. The key is to use good quality grease, such as Pro-Ma Performance Products, on bearings and chains. You can contact me, Bob, at thebiegelfamily@gmail.com for more information on this product.

Argos without these tracks will not move in snow. As soon as its up to the bottom they just sit on it like its water. Its embarassing. Id rather be on a 2wd quad than an argo without tracks in snow.

A few weeks ago I clicked the "watch later" icon on this video. Today I went to my "watch later file and started viewing them in 'full screen' and couldn't see any comments. As I viewed this, I kept thinking, this has a "we love the Lord as a family" written all over it. Others may not understand, but as a Christian, and one of His sheep, we ALL have the same Shepard, who's voice we all recognize, and not only that, but other 'sheep' also...(by their fruit you will recognize them..Matthew 7:20) When I minimized the screen and saw the post from: 's. Pierce' (a family friend?), and it merely confirmed thoughts. God Bless.

Thanks for the comment Dan. We so appreciate what you wrote! Blessings to you also.
@G55-j9z5 жыл бұрын
What the hell has all that got to do with the video, being a Christian does not make you any better, and you wouldn't know his voice if you heard it because the last person who heard it was a roman soldier nearly 2000 years ago. Why do you people have to bring religion in to it, The Lord didn't make Argo's Ontario Gear Drive Dose. If you need a crutch to lean on that's fine but keep it to your self.
