I think Nelson gets the edge here. Villian's list has maybe better cards if you can include them in your deck. But they are highly limited. While pretty much all of Nelson's cards can be used effectively by every hero. I am glad to see clobber on the list though. I think it's really good in a honed technique deck. It basically becomes 5 damage for an effective cost of two. Which is really good. And then if you have no other attacks you can play, this triggers a 2nd time, to give you 5 more for an EF of 3. This is not quite as good, but still pretty nice to be able to flex into. Overall a fun video.

Ah, I love One by One but I can't pass up a list with Psychic Assault on it so I default to VT! THAT SAID technically, Nelson wins for attack event cards that can be played by *anyone*. (dive bomb needs aerial, PA needs psionic trait and B&T is character specific) Always fun, thanks for another great list.

VT wins because Nelson put Concussive Blow as his #1 card. Dive Bomb is even worse outside of Honed Technique deck, but in that deck *chef's kiss*. Turn the Tide is bonkers.

With Gambit being my favourite hero I have to give it to VT. Also love turn the tide.

I've got to give my vote to VT again this round. I'd say it was pretty close, but a lot of Nelson's picks fall flat against the toughest villians in the game, or if playing Standard 2, which ultimately pushed it for me. Also Aerial and Psionic are pretty much the only heroes I play in Aggression, and VT stole both those picks. And as a someone who plays a lot of solo turn the tide is amazing.

Villain gets my vote just for Beauty and the Thief. I am glad to see other people appreciate how awesome that card is.

Going with Nelson on this one, damage + control.

Going with Villain here. I do love Drop Kick and Cutupper, but I only use One By One in a few decks (I like it in Nova and love it in Ms. Marvel), and No Quarter is similar. Concussive Blow just feels like a worse Sonic Rifle to me - Sonic Rifle is the same cost but gives two confuses, not one. While Villain's draft is definitely very specific, my interpretation is the 'best' cards are the 'strongest' and not just the most accessible. Beauty and the Thief and Psychic Assault are both fantastic, Turn the Tide is incredible, and I really like Clobber. Dive Bomb is a bit weird for me because yes it is very strong with Honed Technique, but without Honed Technique it's just not that great imo.

I got to go with Nelson’s. If I could only use the cards from one of the drafts it would be Nelson’s most of the time.

Nelson wins IMO. VT’s cards are just too limited in their use for me, but I do love Clobber!

I have to say, I like both of your choices overall, and I'm going to have to call this one a tie (for the first time for me -- the other lists were more clear for me).

I’m gonna vote for Nelson. While beauty and the thief is soooooo exceptional… (it’s the only team up I still actually use) I don’t think putting it in a draft setting is a strong move. Also Nelson grabbed more aspects which makes his list more diverse. Final point: both drafted good honed technique targets, both got three aggression and one justice and one something else. Both got good events for solo or multiplayer. But Nelson has good status effects

While I think Turn the Tide and Clobber are the best attacks drafted, the nicheness of Villain's other picks hurt his draft for me (almost felt like a loophole for not being able to pick hero cards haha)so I give the edge to Nelson.

Nelson wins this time. Concussion blow and drop kick don't wow me, but I like cutupper and one by one, and no quarter is probably my favorite attack event. I don't play a lot of aggression, but if I do I'm probably going all out making a no quarter deck with HT, follow through, and 45+ cards lol

Wooo! Nice vote! No Quarter is so much fun!

I vote for Nelson. Both mix´s are good but i like Nelson´s more and if you had tied i had taken him anyway because of that very very restricted card you picked VT :) Harhar.

Both lists are pretty good, but Concussive Blow #1 kind of baffles me, the only hero(es) I run it in is Ms marvel and sometimes Gamora. On other heroes, sonic rifle is better, imo. Also, I feel like Hard Knocks should have made someone's list. (I also think No Quarter is overrated but that is my hot take personal opinion. One by One was a really good pick however, multi target event aggressive isca thing because of that card). VT takes it for me.

When I go for honed technique deck I usually include 3*3 events in the deck and Clobber makes the cut more often than not, its 5 dmg for effective cost of 2, I wonder what are your usual picks to go with HT? So far I enjoyed HT the most with characters that are either aerial or psionic, so usually my other picks are either aerial or psionic events, but what for non psionic/non aerial heroes?

I gotta go with Nelson, just because I love Concussive Blow and Drop Kick. Bringing Cut Upper in to round it out clinched it.

I have to go with VT here. I agree with the other comment about Concussive Blow being such a massive relic of the past. I put it in some decks recently and it just felt so bad every time I drew it. It had its uses but it’s been heavily replaced by other cards. Sonic Rifle being the first one that comes to mind with them being the same cost and aspect, but the other one being Professor X, which every deck can play and also gives you 3 thwart and a block. For Justice decks that can attack we have Upside the Head as well. VT’s list was more niche for sure, with three of the cards being heavily situational on an archetype or a trait or a character pairing, but he definitely got a lot of bang for his buck there. And I have a huge soft spot for Clobber, I end up using it quite often.

Nelson. He put a Pool card on the list.

Nelson's is better. VT's picks are way way too niche.
