Instead of jumping from exercise to exercise and seeing ZERO results, place your focus on these two and give it everything you've got. Also keep in mind that a LAGGING bodypart will only grow faster with more workouts throughout the week (2 - 3 workouts), not spending more time in the gym on only one day. A muscle can only take so much abuse at a time. Letting it recover and then hitting it again is the only was to see gains! *ALL LAGGING BODY PART WORKOUTS: **kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3qvnX6sf7h9n9U&list=PLacPhVACI3MO7bIlLlCXq2v81OveZb9Cb&index=6* *Pull-Up Progressions:* kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHKoppRmr9qSbZY

Yo again Scott, the dead hang on the chin-up is often not recommended if you're using a bar! The natural path for your hands when raising them that high is to turn the palms facing each other. Anyone without good shoulder mobility should imo do those on rings or on a neutral grip, which is really not that different when it comes to the lats, but much safer on the shoulders...

Great video, but I always thought dead hang wasn't proper form? So an active hang at the bottom isn't necessary?

I thought the thing was: "Go all the way down" (so a dead hang is not actually bad) and then activate your scapula before pulling yourself back up. But I don't know if that's only for pull ups or chin ups as well.

And use the cable for triceps to do it, you can get a waaaaay bigger contraction of the lats, when you arent limited by the bar!

I'm a little confused by something you said in the video. "You cant build muscle in a calorie deficit". I'm curious as to why some trainers say you can build muscle in a deficit as long as you are in a state of positive nitrogen balance. What are your thoughts on this?

I was always under the impression that the chin-up grip targeted the muscles closer to the spine and the biceps I always do wide grip pull ups and wide grip pull downs, have I had it backwards this entire time?

Awesome video Scott. I got some Creatine and I’ve watched your video on it, but does it matter if I take it at different times of the day? Like morning one day, and then bed the next day? I assume it’s wise to take it at similar times, like morning every day?

Is there a reason you chose the weighed chinup instead of a pullup? I understand that both target lats equally well if done correctly but I feel like it's easier for your biceps to take over in a chinup which minimizes lat activation.

There are many videos about glutes and legs on all channels, but what about a video on something almost everyone neglects, the hips flexors. I'm sure all the videos about anterior pelvic tilt shows just how many people neglect that area and completely forget it exists until there's a problem
