BEST Banana Bread Recipe | Laura Will | Scratch Made Simple

This episode of Scratch Made Simple shares my very favorite fresh banana bread recipe. It's super simple, moist, sweet, and delicious. This is a Will family recipe I make on a weekly basis. Try it out, and you'll see why! ;-)
FRESH BANANA BREAD...
~ Ingredients ~
- 2-3 very ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup of applesauce (can be sweetened or unsweetened)
- 5 Tbsps melted butter
- 1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
~ Directions ~
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir wet ingredients together in a bowl, then mix in dry ingredients. Stir well with a wooden spoon or spatula. Oil a traditional 9x5 loaf pan. Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for 1 hour. Let cool, then slather in butter, and enjoy!

I'm hesitant to try this even though it sounds delicious 😋. I am a stickler for original recipes, if it's not broke don't fix it, but...I think I am going to have to try the white chips! Lol I've used applesauce before, keeps the banana bread very moist, but white chips coming up next go round on the banana bread 👍🏻👍🏻

I really, truly do not like the flavor of white "chocolate". Regular real chocolate...yum.😊

I don’t either!! I dislike white chocolate on its own, but I promise it really works with this one 😉. It melts in and makes it extra yummy.
