Hi Kevin, any chance you would be able to compare this to the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner? The 2nd generations has mopping option for flatter surfaces. It would be interesting to compare the two as they are similar in price.

The top "round" part houses the laser or LIDAR. It's a projected laser that rotates continuously to map the room or any nearby objects.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the round robovacs like this will not clean close to wall on carpet by it's design unlike the Neato vacs. The spinning brushes work to push over loose things into the center, which works well on hard floors, butnot effective on carpet so there will always be about 3 inches or so from the wall that won't get any cleaning by the rollers and suction.

Kevin, how did you get it set up. I have Google Wifi and 2XL, They both only go to the 5hz channel so not sure how else to get it to go to 2.4. Any help would be appreciated!!

Set your phone up on the 2.4G SSID band and connect your bot with your phone following the instructions. When all done and verified working you can put your phone back on your 5G band and all will work just fine.

But the App is very intrusive, It needs access to your files, pictures, contacts, GPS and IMEI number. Returned it back to Costco.
