@blender_face The CPU has nowhere near the best performance for things like simulations, and a 3060 while good for beginners, is behind the more powerful 30 series and almost all of the new 40 series

Ryzen 5 and 7 have there differences, but for the price the price the 5 is better, tho if a few extra bucks aren't an issue for you, go for 7 yes

That's not even close to optimal work station, call it for what it is, a budget pc. Nothing wrong with budget builds, just don't call it "ultimate Blender PC" when it's not even mid range
