It was crazy to me how little the 95A poly kit changed the NVH and discomfort on my E30 idk if you had the same experience, but for me other than squeaks the only difference was good stuff. now... what to buy on this dang black Friday sale..

E30 ShedSkid Yes the NVH is definitely increased. But the overall feedback you get and the lack of deflection is great. You really notice a direct feel in steering feedback. Also better throttle response you immediately feel the power getting down to the ground instead of the delay with the stock bushings. I like all the things poly #becauseracecar

hell yeah racekorr, before the bushing upgrade I could feel the rear end move separately from the car in tight corners. like it was deflecting super bad. but thats fixed haha

Ok thanx a lot . I jus had an oil gasket Nd transmission gasket job done Nd when I look by the oil pan by the bolt I see oil weapon thru around da bolt but very slowly. I’ll def do the 10w40 next time. Thx a lot

hey man, i have power stearing on my old gal E30, came from an e36, been making a weird noise when i turn the wheels, more noticeable when cold. i have a weird garage space need to almost lock the stearing to get out of that spot. i thought i saw some drips of oil here and there, any thoughts?! jonson jonson 10w40 Castrol synthetic blend is what you need for motor oil. Used to do mobil1 (fully synthetic) but leaks throughout the seals for is an old car.

how do you find the poly mounts on your car? I have them on my 318is and the vibration is almost unbearable. I'm thinking it might be smoother on the 6cyl.

Zachary Hollen they are pretty loud and do transfer a lot of vibrations. But to me it’s well worth the noise due to the lack of deflection and I haven’t snapped them in half like the stock ones.

I definitely get loving the benefits of them. But the m42 just isn't as smooth as the m20 and it's hard to take on a daily driver! I was just curious what your experience was with them.

Hey man, What do you think of the RTAB bushings from garagistic? I have the same one and I like them but they squeak like crazy. I know you are using this for your track build so you probably don't care but I was just curious if you have the same thing. I have greased them twice but they just start squeaking again after like a month. Car looks good man like the channel.

I haven’t noticed any excessive noise but when I installed them I made sure to put grease everywhere. My car is pretty loud though so maybe it just blends in to the drone of gutted interior

where did you get your z3 steering rack from?

rackdoctor.net Get either the E36 325 rack (3.2 lock to lock ratio), the E46 "ZHP" rack (3.0 lock to lock), or the Z3 rack (2.7 turns lock to lock but linear and very touchy on the highway, so it's not for everyone who travels on the highway a lot and doesn't want to sneeze and all of a sudden be in the median). There's more to a good rack than just lock to lock ratios but those are the big 3 racks to swap into a tired old E30 rack. Call them up, that's what I did and the guy I spoke to was very helpful if you're polite and not some know it all jackass.

reminds me of a time when i bought a e30 but the front wheel was missing from an accident. he said i wasted my money, threatened the kid to lower the price and then i came home $400 poorer and also no e30 🤣 he ruined everything
