I just love her poetry style. This year I got introduced to the Keeper of the Lost Cities series and I really enjoyed it. It is considered at kids/tween book, but it reminded a lot of Harry Potter. If you haven't read it, you should consider giving it a go! It can be a bit cheesy at times and the quality gets better as you go on, though. Also, I read Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow for the first time this year and I REALLY liked the character development and how things got more and more cynical as they broke down. First book of 2019 for me is "The Grey Bastards" and as of now my all time fave, and i'm not even half way through. Go read the synopsis as i can do it no justice. It's witty, it's smutty and really detailed, i love all the characters (even females which i DO NOT get on with in 95% of the books i've read), every chapter had me pining for more. This book has definatly sparked life back into my love for reading as i have fallen out with them a long while ago, and it''s helped me to be more descriptive in my writing.
