I have one of these and the fan is the worst feature, would love to swap it out for a silent fan of better quality!

I was certainly surprised at the sound of the fan, and I will say something though I use it permanently as a UPS now in my office/studio, and the fan never kicks in when it’s being used as a UPS all the time which is rather interesting

Do you think this power station will be fine to run a small portable heater ? Have a football season coming up, was thinking of getting this & hooking it up to a heater to put in my tent .

The heater runs 750 watts on low & 1500 watts on high

Honestly, no there’s not enough power in it to run a space heater or any electric heater for any length of time. If I had to make a suggestion, I would say to pick up one of those little Mr. buddy, propane heaters those things are awesome and can run quite a while and even a small propane tank.
