Hi this was very informative. What about running a normal generator through a seperate inverter?

i have a new (unopened) Firman WO3386 inverter gen , i could not find any info on break in ,not even in the manual , the Firman website states that changing the oil after twenty five hours is enough for break in !!

You need to do a review of the Dewalt gas powered single stage snowblower available at Home Depot.

Would this eliminate the need for surge protectors in your home?
@vertigo_one21 сағат бұрын
It's parallel operation not "daisy chain", but yes you basically have each generator providing each half of the 240V but outputting up to 50A total (instead of 240V at 25-30A with just one unit).

That’s not a trickle charger it’s a charger/maintainer, big difference. I’ve got a few of those exact same ones. It will charge up the battery, unless the battery is beyond repair, then once it’s charged it goes to an automatic maintainer mode, in other words maintains your battery at proper voltage. A trickle charger will slowly charge up the battery but if not removed once the battery is fully charged it will continue to charge the battery and eventually will overcharge the battery and possibly ruin/fry the battery. Your welcome 😂

couple points - I used the Refresh Analyze mode on a few older batteries (enveloop pros ) and they were perfect even after 2 yrs of back up role maybe charged twice so buy good rechargables and just use them- they last a long time. and Important place the battery as instructed and it will look like its in place but its not without the comfortable click pushing down on the + top. RefreshAnakyze took nine hours Less time then the Brake in mode. As a working Photographer I don't need this and my old Charges seemed to work great. products reviews have reported the unit fails to operate after two yrs. It's fun now.

I just got mine the other day - quite a learning curve this video and the Amazon video in the product description are a godsend- thank you. BUT …. Its overkill for most I’m a photographer with six strobes that use AAs Batteries don’t cost ten bucks a piece getting 16-32 quality batteries will cost under fifty bucks and they will last for years then buy a few more I like the charger but it’s over the top and steals my time trying g to fix a three dollar AA.

Is it a good idea to keep it in the car full time in cold Canadian weather, with strong temperature variations, will it damage the lithium batteries?

I got that solar pannel as a gift from temu along 8$ worth of other products and I really think if you have this while outside even if the angle isnt optimal and the weather isnt 100% perfect that is still gonna give you like 2-6hours of smartphone battery time its also good for batteries life to be at a constant 80% charge so I would say its definitly worth for "emergency" charging and that definitly better than those crappy solar power cells on power banks but a combination would probably also be great.

Open frame generators are generally square wave or modified wave,used mostly for resistive loads toasters jugs electric motors,where as inverter sinusoidal wave form is used for electronic type loads,such as computers.Square wave or modified wave will damage electronics. AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺

This affordable sound meter from Amazon delivers decent performance for basic noise level measurements, making it suitable for home or casual use. Its compact design and user-friendly interface are great for beginners, but professional-grade applications may demand higher accuracy and calibration features. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option to monitor sound levels in different environments, this device can be a good starting point. However, always check its specifications to ensure it meets your needs before purchasing. I came across from GAO RFID Inc. you can find pretty usefull for this topic!

I have a Westinghouse 10500 tri-fuel portable generator that 500cc that I intended to use as an emergency generator during outages from snow storms and summer outages. I plan to connect to my house with a 50amp power chord. Is there any way I can connect an external sine wave inverter to my generator to provide clean electric to my house electric main panel? Thanks Eric

I found out the hard way that even a modern gas furnace needs clean power. Ice storm in Portland Oregon in early 2024 left us without power for 6 days. I rented a non-inverter generator (not knowing the difference) and my furnace error message translated into essentially "dirty power, can't run." Since our gas furnace needs electricity to run fans, it wouldn't run.

This thing probably saved my life. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene we lost power for a couple weeks. I ran everything off my EcoFlow, then once the battery got down to 20% I'd run the PowerSmart generator for about 30min to charge it back up to 100%. It was very cloudy which prevented me from running solar. Luckily this generator sips gas so 3 gallons lasted me the whole two weeks. Without it I would've been without lights, refrigeration, fans, water filtration pump, digital devices, etc... If you're on the fence JUST BUY IT, it's been very reliable, and is the best priced generator I've found for what you get. And it pairs very well with a solar generator so if you're looking for emergency preparedness pick one of those up too.

Yes you can although car charging is limited to 200 watts so it doesn’t improve the charging time that much

The difference in price between *most* open-frame gens and *most* "suitcase-style inverter gens is NOT "a little bit"; it's A LOT. Also . . . Many open-frame gens are also inverter gens.
