I don't nomally comment, but man. This was a very well structured, thorough, and high quality video. I have to commend you for that. Also, quick question. Have you used any programs such as Voicemeeter in conjunction with the K670 and does that seem to help reduce the echo and improve quality? I know you mentioned that you sometimes use Adobe Audition for post-processing, but I'm more looking to actively process the audio for better quality while gaming with friends.
@FIFINE6 жыл бұрын
Voicemeeter doesn't help that much in terms of sound quality improvement, the main use is still to provide multiple input and output solution for Windows computer. No worry on the echo. And the raw audio is just enough to deal with gaming as long as you set volume level decent (dial below 50%, computer around 70%) and sit around 3-5 inches in front of the mic. But if you do need to further improve the quality, just use OBS which has noise gate and Reaper plugin which helps reduce unwanted sound.

I have to admit, I'm looking at this mic for an online radio show and watching many of these videos. So far, this is the best comparison I've heard. I do feel the Fifine sounds much better than the snowball, and almost on par with the Yetti. Considering the price difference, the Fifine takes the prize hands down. I have also read the comments on other videos where posters are saying they use the Fifine and how much they love it. It sounds great to me, and the price is right... sold, to the old radio DJ. Emphasis on the OLD LOL

Thanks for the review. Wondering, is this worth buying instead of the cheaper FiFine K669B ? I actually like the sound of FiFine better than Blue Snowball. The "ball" has mid frequencies boosted too much. On the other hand, FiFine mics are lacking mids and lows somewhat, but for voice FiFines sound clearer.

I went with the 669b. Personally I think that your voice will sound better if your not too close to it and you have the gain adjusted properly. I like to be really close to my mic and the plosives kind of drowned the quality a little even with a windscreen

Another thing to consider (especially since one was recommended) is the price of a shock mount. Die to the unique shape of the snowball, it's very difficult to find a mount other that the one offered by blue - that costs roughly the same as the actual microphone! As a package, I would thus consider the Fifine a much better value product :)

I have the Fifine K670 and I found that the blue light actually went out after a couple of months. Had it plugged in pretty much since I got it. I don't mind that it's out tho because when sitting near the mic the blue led is sitting out in the open and it's like having a mini flashlight being pointed in your general direction. Another thing I noticed (idk if it's windows or the drivers) is that even when turning off the exclusive control setting for my mic volume it randomly moves up or down. Love how the mic sounds for the price and how it looks. It has changed my perspective on USB mics entirely!

Hello! You are the most articulate reviewer on YT! Thanks. Question...my bandmate and I are using FaceTime/Skype/Zoom to rehearse. We're both playing acoustic guitar and singing. We're using ethernet cables, Fifine K669 mics + headphones, so each of us hears the other one in our headphones. The K669 doesn't have a headphone jack and so it's hard to hear ourselves and would like to monitor ourselves in the headphones. Hence, we thought to buy the K670 b/c of the headphone jack - but then will we still be able to hear the other person b/c the headphones are now plugged into the mic instead of the computer? Or does it then work "2-way"? I appreciate any consideration and advice....:-)
@its_lucos4 жыл бұрын
I would be surprised if it works... btw, with the proper adapter, would it work with an iphone?
@FIFINE4 жыл бұрын
The answer is yes. you can still hear the other person when the headphones are plugged in to the mic. But unfortunately the K670 and K678 use a different USB driver unlike the other USB models from FIFINE. That means these two models are not available for the method to use multiple microphone on one computer. Sorry about that.
@FIFINE4 жыл бұрын
@@its_lucos Um I think what you're going to plan to do with this setup is to use a smartphone as external speaker. If so, it would be better to have a portable amplifier instead. Even the K670 can be connected to smartphone via USB adapter, but there's no way for smartphone to play through the input at the same time.

Fifine k 669 o Fifine k670?? Cual es mejor???

The capsule of K669 is smaller, and you have to put the arm stand closer to compensate for the bass. And without the low-latency headphone jack, you may run into problem when doing podcast and you want to hear yourself in real time. The main difference about the tone is that K669 doesn't give that kind of all-round sound as K670 provides. But there won't be quite noticeable difference if your main use is gaming. And you don't need that headphone jack to hear yourself either in gaming.
@pittbullninja5 жыл бұрын
what about the k669 i will be gaming mostly and might make a guide or possible try streaming would you say this is better than that one
@FIFINE5 жыл бұрын
If you're not very concerned about keyboard or mouse sound and your main use is not recording, K669 will work perfectly fine as a gaming microphone. If you want cleaner audio over clarity, then a setup of a dynamic mic (FIFINE K6) and an audio interface (such as Behringer UM2) for around $60 is more suited.

Um it's not a difficult choice. Apart from the tone difference, with the budget of Yeti, you could buy almost 2 of the K670 and an arm stand and a pop filter. With all these accessories, you could get the similar bass effect as Yeti could give you. But in term of vocal and singing, the even more important part is treble, in which K670 is doing especially good. It could be with roughly the same clarity as Yeti does, maybe even better.

Is this a good microfone for podcasting? I’m searching for a better microfone to replace my microsoft lx-3000 headset. Should I buy fifine k670?
@FIFINE4 жыл бұрын
We are going to compare the K670 with the snowball and you can make your choice. The K670 should sound as warm as the Snowball. But the biggest size of K670 capsule makes the sound appear bigger and more engaging. Therefore the sound will also be louder when the input levels of computer for both mics are set at the same. Other features of K670 is the volume dial, headphone monitoring jack and height-adjustable stand. If budget allows, I think the best solution for the moment is to purchase them both, then you keep the one which suits you more.

@FIFINE4 жыл бұрын
First, you can use the OBS Studio to record slideshow and voice. Secondly, the K670 have the headphone jack, which can monitor your voice while recording without delay. Besides, it has the volume knob so that you can adjust the volume conveniently. Overall, K670 definitely meet your needs.
@ymcsolo61844 жыл бұрын
Can u please reply, which mic do u think is better for recording music snowball or fifine ?
@FIFINE4 жыл бұрын
It will depend on your favor. Though the volume dial and true real-time monitoring feature alone would worth quite a few of bucks, the main different is still about the tone. K670 would give the similar warm sound as Snowball does because of the larger capsule. While it still picks up details of high ends, in which Snowball doesn't have very promising performance for vocal. That means K670 would capture your voice more clearly from the same distance and thus a better choice for music over Snowball. Though we're the manufacturer and seller of K670, what we say about our own product is bascially meaningless, you can checkout some other videos to decide by yourself.
