I am old, so I am absolute trash with any controller. My thumbs did not come controller programmed from the factory. I have never even played on a Xbox or PlayStation. However, great review, Mike! Looks like a great controller, and I like the red/white/black camo.

thanks Sky, i think you probably missed the console boom by a year or two, i caught the start of it as a teenager but never really liked the control setup and quickly adapted keyboard and mouse for all the 3D games that arrived on the scene. I still like a joypad for driving games, i can never get the level of accuracy needed with KB&M. But these gamepads seem to be selling like hot cakes so there is a market for them, just i think some of us still need a keyboard and mouse

I quite fancy a wireless one, Ive got a wired PS4 clone one that I use for stuff like Streetfighter 4 and some flying games that I play occasionally and this would save me the faff of unwinding the big ass cable, dusting the thing off and plugging it in. Plus it looks nice too. Thanks for another great video Mike and Kath :)

it is a handy little joypad and like i said even if you don't use it often and the battery goes flat, you can always use it wired to get your gaming fix

I have an original 360 controller but it won't work in games, have it connected to my pc using correct drivers but nothing happens in game. Will comment ask in discord just wanted to post here to help with the KZbin algorithm.

I picked up one of the EasySMX controllers and it is cheap, and it does work, but occasionally, it will go bad mid game, and the LED ring around the right thumb-stick will turn red, and one of my triggers will just jitter in activation. It's terrible if you're in a PvP situation, because the only way to fix it seems to be resetting the controller with the center button. Still not sure why it happens.

I built a new PC recently using an Xbox One controller with the Wireless Adapter and the controller disconnects for a second or two every now and then, which can be inconvenient in the middle of a game! I got an Xbox Series X controller for Xmas and the same thing happens. I've tried a bunch of solutions I found online and while they have improved the situation, nothing has completely eradicated it besides physically connecting the controller via USB.

are you using the front USB ports? i sometimes find them to be unreliable so often pull into a direct port on the rear for a better more steady signal

the dead zones and analogue are not as good as the OG XBOX360 controller - which i really love, but not hugely far off

Looks decent if you're a fan of the Xbox controller. Offset analogue sticks don't suit me personally but good video none the less!

Hi Mike does this have windows XP compatibility? Since my trusty old 360 controller died had trouble finding one that will work on the XP boot of my retro rig due to driver issues. PS All the best in the new year for you and the Fam...May it be your best year ever and you get some better quality commenters than my sad old being. PPS. High point of 2020 got a near new 32" 4K monitor for £120 due to a work at home miss appropriation.(not me I think I just got fruit of a scandal to punish the wrong doer) Its only a 60htz VA panel Samsung UJ59 model but gets good reviews. Low point of 2020 not having a PC good enough to run my 4K monitor past 1080p due to selling my main gaming system off back in April ish and subscribing to the don't build just yet the other thing is just round the corner mentality. I'm not sure if I'm going to have a complete PC that suits my Yorkshire budgeting for myself by 2021 or 2121 at this rate.

yes it uses the USB power to recharge the battery

The usb cable can be used as a charging cable and a data cable and charge time varies depending on the power available on the port it is using but an hour or so should do it or use a usb phone type charger
