Can you view a live video on your phone while it’s in surveillance mode over WiFi or is it Bluetooth connected? Just curious because there are times I like to watch my kids while they are outside playing and I’m working inside and my regular sec cameras are just out of view. Would be cool to have something I could just throw in a temp location to monitor them.

Hi sorry for the late reply. It uses WiFi and yes you can monitor using the surveillance option. It’s very intuitive too.

Just realised the problem with a lot of these inexpensive doohickeys these days: low tech engineering obsession with Bluetooth enabled servo motors, and deliberate nerfing of high-end technology features. Setting these plastic hockey puck nic-nacs with limited functionality is a non-progressive form of capitalism. Let’s just call this variant: CRAPitalism? just create a Ferrari and sell a Ferrari🤷🏽‍♀️ ? why keep making low resolution bollocks? 💀 just more landfill…
