A - Komodo X B - Arri Alexa C - FX6 D - V Raptor E - Z Cam (I guess) Pretty confident about FX6, Arri and Komodo X looks. D looks like what one should expect from a V raptor… and I have 0 hands-on experience with Z-cam whatsoever, but I guess it has to be cam E. My takeaway from this is that these are all very competent cameras.

I liked the pictures of camera B. But my favorite is the Panasonic S52x or GH7 that beats them all 😂

This is my favorite camera test video I've watched on KZbin thus far. Gave a really good look at each camera without rushing through. Here are my guesses - A: RED Raptor; B: FX6; C: RED Komodo; D - ARRI; E: Z-Cam

Camera B has to be the Alexa. In all the various tests or shots i have seen out there the Alexa always in my opinion gives the nicest color.

Great blind test shootout as usual Tom! I'm going to guess: A. RED Raptor B. Alexa 35 C. Komodo X D. Sony FX6 E. Z-CAM F6. My preferred image has to be B.

I prever Camera B the most. Very pleasing skin tones, almost no rolling shutter.

Also in the description link you put down v raptor X twice instead of the komodo-x, still amazing test tho!

B & C seem to be the Alexa (just a beautiful image) & FX6 (close to the Arri with the correct Skin Tone Mode Thingy and a little Slur when panning). For me, I don't see the use in investing money into the Apple'esque RED-Moneysphere, so neglecting the side by sides _and_ the results of this comparison here, I'd always go for my FX6s and rent an Arri from Munich when needed. Cheers.

A-FX6, B-Raptor, C-Komodo, D-Alexa 35, E-Zcam....D and E have the most natural filming curve, less digital. E has the rolling shutter and larger sensor so thats the reason I can distinguish the 2. But both very similar.
@imabigsandwich1292Күн бұрын
Cam ABCD all looks amazing, very natural skintones and at least with the youtube compression can't tell apart in terms of noise level or pattern in the pushed 3 stops test (except that C looks like it's loosing a lot of saturation/color fidelity in underexposure), but E does not look good at all, with terrible skintones and color fidelity. My guess is that A is Komodo-X, B is Alexa 35, C is FX6, and D is V Raptor-X, E is Z cam
@imabigsandwich1292Күн бұрын
And to add to this, A had maintained great color fidelity in the underexposure test but had a lot of red channel noise, which is consistent with the Komodo line of sensors, which is the reason why I usually shoot those with a 85B filter at 3200K to feed the red channel more light, resulting in much less noise overall. B looks to be more desaturated and noisier then A and D in the underexposure section, also the hue is much more pushed with much more magenta in Skintones and much more cyan in greens, which is consistent with the Alexa look. A and D is simliar in look but both needs a bit more magenta in the tint, D performed the best in the underexposure test with virtually no noise to see on KZbin and no saturation/color fidelity loss, both A and D clipped on 3 over test, which is consistent with the Dynamic Range distribution of DSMC3. C looked pretty neutral but has horizontal FPN on the 3 Under test and lost saturation and started showing green/magenta blotchy noise, which is consistent with the performance of the FX6. E had not only the worst Skintone and color fidelity in general, it also had a lot of green shift in the 3 under test, which is consistent with Z cam's historically awful sensor tuning. Where the same IMX410 might shine on a Panasonic S camera or the Sigma FP, it looks bad on Z Cams, Kinefinity, and Blackmagic to a lesser extent, due to their much smaller R&D budget and being much much younger companies.

FX6 is the champion 😅
@ekteTV2011Күн бұрын
As a Z Cam user, I know the camera punches well above its weight, so I will guess B is Z Cam, C is Alexa 35, A and D are the REDs, and E is FX6.
@LukeBroadhurstfilmКүн бұрын
1: B 2: A 3: D 4: C 5: E B is nicest colours when exposed correctly. . A and D have the most saturated colour information under exposed. Colours are nice but don’t have the natural neutrality as B. C and E have the ugliest noise patterns and colour. A had the best rolling shutter with B,C, and D looking the same. E was the noticeably worse outlier Skin tones on A and D skewed a little more green, causing unnatural darker skin tones with perhaps paler but natural lighter skin tones. while B skewed more pink, causing darker skin tones to look more natural while the lighter skin tones looked maybe a little too pink (albeit more pleasing look overall)

To my taste the C camera looks the most pleasant. The colors are accurate. The least I like the E camera. It has too much magenta and it looks bad on skin tones because of that. A, B and C are the most pleasant. But I give the preference to C camera over all 5.

A - sony fx6, B - expensive red, C - less expensive red, D - z cam. E - Alexa 35. Alexa is surprisingly warm. Sony is green as usual. Z cam has a smaller sensor then other it seems. And also green. B camera gives decent image but the skin looks like white cardboard. C - has a lot of similarities to B, but with worse capabilities. I doubt between A and C they may be the oposite. But I’ll stick to my guess. And I may be completely wrong :). Love these kind of videos!

There’s about film emulations out there, and I don’t think digital looks boring, plus it’s cheaper and easier to
@mixdown78Күн бұрын
@@hyperaxx2180 Yes, and that's not the same. In Reality it requires intensive amount of Post work, to emulate the complex and specific behavior of FILM during various Lighting-Situations etc. Possible, but nobody is doing it. The human eye can't be tricked with a quick LUT in this. Digital is good for people on budget, of course. In terms of beautyness, it's a loss, anytime
