I'm with you on a 4 door Mark 1, a hell of a good idea although I prefer the 4 door in Mark 2, looks better IMO. As for E Type's and MGB GT's, I've driven both and the MGB wins for me, I was never impressed with E Type drive, they look amazing but the drive was a let down for me, a case of never meet your heroes on that one I'm afraid.

@@TomShorrock Maybe I'm being unfair to the E Type because I drove them when I was 19/20 and used to much smaller cars and was an inexperienced driver back then. There's a chance that if I were fortunate enough to drive one now over 30 years later I might appreciate it more.
