Good to see Manuel chatting about his amazing journey and work and experiences! #RoguePerfumery really DO push the envelope and their fragrances are really reminiscent of the 70s - 80s Chyphre powerful perfumes. For me - Mousse Illuminee is THE MASTERPIECE of their line. All I need is Mousse Illuminee, Bois de Portugal and Chyphre Palatin to keep me happy! Bon Monsieur is also a good one 👍

Loved this interview, absolutely adore this brand and appreciate a fellow introverted Gen-X'er doing an interview on KZbin. Flora and Fauna was one of the first niche fragrances I bought (via Ecuacion Natural as I am in Europe, read about it in an article on Fragrantica about autumn fragrances) and now I know I had better cherish it as it has been discontinued. Ecuacion Natural does such great samples (5ml, good size) and now after sampling them I have 30ml bottles of Chypre Siam and Champs Lunaires. I also love Flos Mortis and Derviche, maybe I had better snap them up before they disappear too. I've actually been to Idaho Falls for work in a previous life, what a lovely part of the world; nice to think of these beautiful fragrances originating there.

27:30 🤣 I can see why some people would find Mousse Illuminee medicinal. If you ever smell the newest reformulation of Loewe's Esencia edt, the juniper is so sharp that it's almost tangy, sour and medicinal. Also reminiscent of Polo in the air. This was a great interview Dan!

Aramis Tobacco Reserve is a fantastic fragrance that doesn’t get much light… I believe it’s discontinued…. But if you can find a bottle for a reasonable price, it’s very solid. I found it in a TJ Maxx for $30 couple years back.. I also picked up a bottle of the og a few ago.. still holds up.
