I got Tinco for my aunt on basis of the review and i got Tinco on 100 sterling discount. Dual battery and dust sensing suction auto suction makes battery use last longer. Usually change battery when capacity drops to 20%. My aunt loves it. Having 2 smaller battery also means its probably lighter than dyson. Good reviews

Thank you for this thorough cordless vacuum test, I've owned so many vacuums through the years, my Mom purchased Kirby's back in the 50-60's, at that time it was the Mercedes Benz of vacuums. Today, I'm a Senior and can't handle heavy vacuums anymore, so on a whim and skeptical I purchased the Tineco, I was soo happy at how light and how easy it was to clean - I will never go back!!!

I have the Shark Duo Ion Flex (the one the F80 replaced), and I'm super happy with it. Not having to deal with different heads for different surfaces is great; just a push of a button changes the brush roll speed. As well, the motorized head has lights on it. Something the Dyson's have never had.

We have a Dyson V8 and a Dyson V11: they are actually both great vacuum cleaners! My house has never been so clean, and I don't even vacuum every week! Really easy to use, really easy to empty dirt cup, no cat hair left behind (did a test with powerful flashlight set on the floor, parallel to the floor), and no pet hair flying in the air because the air filter is at the top of the vacuum, and not close to the ground, and no human hair ever tangled in the brush, which has very short and tight bristles. Love also the battery life saver: no ON and OFF button, which also saves you time: you just press and hold, and release. I am done forever with heavy, clumsy, hard to maneuver cord vacuums, which lift pet hair in the air so you have to re-vacuum the whole place after the hair has fallen back on the ground!

I have 3 Tineco cordless. ONE A-11 HERO, ONE A11 MASTER & the S-12 PLUS. I LOVE THEM ALL. I was surprised you didn't mention the rinse-free secondary cylinder filters that come with ALL Tineco (A11 thru S12). Each vacuum ships with two, as well as an attachment for deep cleaning them using vacuum suction. These filters sit inside a screen pre-filter. They are all interchangeable between models and can be swapped for a fresh one without opening the dust cup •My opinion of the Tineco product is that it is well engineered after thorough consultation with people who actually vacuum. There are attachments I've never seen anywhere else for any variety of circumstances and they are truly useful ...NOTHING GIMMICKY. These, are my first cordless vacuums & I LOVE them. I was the 5th generation in a family of Electrolux users -the first being my Grandmother who was born in the 1800s. ANY of these could run circles around my last Lux ($2,000) which was a trainwreck of design in every possible category except power & operating volume. By the time I'd clean half a room my mood would be so foul I was SEETHING. Can you imagine a machine designed so poorly that it could vex one so? Whoever had a hand in that spawn of Satan had never actually USED a vacuum. I must leave that subject alone. •The S12 is premium in several ways. It has the same fantastic array of attachments as well as some new ones. The ones that are also on the A11s have had some design improvements, mainly that they ALL click on and off the unit whereas before, only some of them did. I'd still like to see lights in the motorized stair & upholstery head as well as the ability to turn the brush roll on or off and have power when using the flexible hose. ALL ATTACHMENTS CAN BE USED INTERCHANGEABLY between all the units. My FAVOURITE UPGRADE IS the motorized rotation of the pre-filter in the filter-cleaner. • I don't notice the extra power in the S12 and don't really care for the auto power adjustment. I use MAX a lot because I have commercial grade vintage Versace carpets that have an extra thick, deep, plush pile. The A11's battery lasts a lot longer than the A12's in high-drain scenarios. NOTE: MY A11 HERO GOT SOMETHING STUCK IN THE MOTOR - heavy string or long piece of carpet. The motor had been extra loud and it finally stopped. I could see the string and tried to pull it with tweezers but it was too hard to access and I would have voided the warranty if I'd opened the unit. •BEWARE that all models except the A12 can be switched on without the dust cup or filters in place. It was entirely possible that I caused the motor failure by accidentally pulling the trigger switch when I was cleaning the filters & had it upsidedown. •I CONTACTED TINECO and after a few simple questions from their AI, was referred to a human support agent. This was a quick and painless process. I WAS UPFRONT ABOUT MY POSSIBLE CULPABILITY. Once she determined the motor was not fixable by the customer and that I HAD NOT opened the unit, she said she was replacing it and it WOULD ARRIVE IN A FEW DAYS ...it was at my door 100% free of charge 2 business days later. ••No charge for the shipping and no requirement to return the original. I'M SOLD ON TINECO!!

Quite a comprehensive test, one important requirement from my mother when searching for a vacuum was for the trigger to be able to stay on due to her arthritic hands , we only found one at the time which was a hoover so it got the nod.

Got a V10 Absolute and it's honestly the best vacuum we've had. We've had a good old rainbow and loved that for a while but as vacuum tech increased it was starting to suck so we went with a Hoover react upright vacuum and that was a world better but didn't last nearly as long as our rainbow did. Now we have the Dyson and it's unbelievable how much better it is. Our house seems to stay cleaner and that's mostly due to the fact that there is a level of convenience involved with being able to just pull it out of the closet and go, no grabbing a cord no nothing. Coupled with the fact that it has nearly the same or better suction then our previous vacuums it makes it a complete upgrade through and through. and now with the different attachments we can actually keep our couches clean which is actually stopped us from buying new couches. So all in all I am way more impressed with Dyson than I thought I'd ever be.

I went to purchase a cordless vacuum and very quickly changed my mind based entirely on the fact that all the ones I was able to try had all the weight at the handle. Even a few moments in the store using them were uncomfortable. Also, if you need to stop to move furniture or a toy you have to lay it down on the floor. I found them very inconvenient and can cope with a cord.

I had a Dyson and hated it. The batteries didn't last long enough and I had to keep the button pressed at all times to use it and it gave me blisters. I returned and got a Shark with an extra battery and love it! I still have a corded Dyson that I use for more deep cleaning, but the cordless Shark is the one I use everyday. Great review!

I just bought a Dyson v11 and I think it's amazing. 45min on medium is impressive because it's so powerful. Low is fine for hardwood and it lasts forever. High power mode is just too much for most tasks but nice to have. The only negative is the weight, but it's still easy enough to use with the powered head.

I just want to highlight that depending on the model of stick cordless vacuum you currently own/can get for cheap, you can upgrade it very substantially: my V6 battery just finally carked out. The original Dyson battery is a 2100mAh. I found out that with progress in battery since that came out, you can now find online battery blocks for it that are up to 6000mAh (I bought 4800mAh for about $50). It only takes to remove 2 small screws, no electric skills, slides out, slide in, and boom, more than double the original vacuum time AND avoid to replace an otherwise fine vacuum. Repair and/or upgrade, don't replace. Might exist for V8s and others, not sure.

@arevee94295 жыл бұрын
Have to beg to differ on the mid-price results. Having both the V8 and the Shark Ion P50 and having used them both for several years, I can say that for me, the V8 is hands down better. The P50 may be lighter and the handle, but that clunky head makes it less maneuverable. It's foam filter is clogged constantly and there is dust outside the filter which would indicate leakage. And worst of all, it gets super tangled with carpet fluff and the brush roll needs constant cleaning. The Dyson is also far better at removing pet hair from dog beds and furniture with or without the small powered nozzle. And it can vacuum stairs without even removing the carpet head. I know I may sound a bit like 'Vacuum Facts', but as an experienced user, I'd have to say he's mostly right.

I've owned a Janitorial company for 30 years and you make great points. These are initial tests however as you point out, you can't judge any equipment until you have used it a while. Especially vacuums seem to all work fairly well the first little while but later on what matters are those that keep on performing well over time. What I would like to see is paper filters for cordless. Yeah Yeah, the cyclone is all the rage but each has a hepa filter because they do not trap everything. I'd rather have a hepa bag and once done, discard the bag and all the dirt and dust and put in a new one. You would as well have better air flow not having to push the air through so many different passages and filters. Air friction plays a big role in air flow and suction.
@staceys18705 жыл бұрын
@@DrakeShattuck Thank you for your comment, as it's helped me a lot. I have such severe allergies, and am looking for the best Hepa system. Well, I probably couldn't afford that, but would love to have one w/ a Hepa bag!!

Thank you soo much for making this video! It's impossible to figure out which vacuum is best just by browsing on Amazon. I was able to come to the conclusion that the best vacuum for me & my 2 toddlers was the Shark ION p50. Ty for doing the filter test to see how much dust escapes the vacuum. I love that it works so incredibly good on carpets & hardwood floors and picks up large debris, that is direly needed for 2 messy toddlers. Im very glad I could find such a wonderful vacuum that is also cordless (prevents kids playing with a cord or plug), has a detachble hand held vacuum for all the crevices/edges (no dusty areas for the kids to get to). I bought a Beldray Revo Model BEL0944SL Cordless Vacuum Cleaner and Pifco Model P28027 Robot Vacuum Cleaner on Ebay a few days ago and they are amazing. I would never buy a vacuum cleaner with a cord like we had years ago as they are backbreaking things to manoeuvre around and then you spend a light year getting kinks out of the cord and what not. At least with a robot cleaner you just send it on it's merry way and they do the job fine in general, plus there is something oddly hypnotic about watching the things wander around your floor searching for all kinds of crap. Love them.

Good video. I can tell you put a lot of work into this. I should be curious if you could incorporate testing that would mimic what someone encounters in a workshop/garage environment. Obviously there are many similarities to your tests here but there are certain things like removing sawdust down in nooks and crannies, and The volume of the tank where material resides. I also think the ease of dumping the vacuum is worth measuring

Interesting why did F8 score “N/A” in some tests (along some others)... It would also be very interesting to see the brand new ROIDMI X20 tested along the others (is it much better than F8?).

Excellent ...and I do mean excellent review. Thank you. BTW: I had purchased my Dyson V8 over 4 years ago. Love it. Glad to see how it compared.

Hi! I'm really interested in the Tineco A11 but am a little worried in regards to the filtration system. It came in 2nd place in the video and I was hoping you could explain why exactly. I know you did a separate video on the Tineco A11 Master but the filtration system isn't mentioned in that video. Any more info would be extremely appreciated as I have a 10 year old at home who is extremely allergic to dust mites.

Have Dyson V8 Absolute for 1.5yrs vacuum everyday(dustpit by airbase), xtra battery from aliexpress EZ to change(3screws), the v10 v11 cant. Dbble filters on V8 working fine, the wall hanger/charger makes EZ access. Wrap the wand in clear 3m no scratch film, EZ to scratch the lovely color, they should anodize color into metal. Just have to use pledge on attachments to remove fine dust from connections so doesnt stick when attaching. Also bought a Iron board/iron wire wall hanger for attachment storage ($8 walmart).

Bought the V10 and very happy with it. The suction is incredible for a cordless vacuum and it feels very premium. As you mentioned in the video, the V10 is much more cheaper than the V11, yet is 90% the same thing. A solid choice for anyone looking for a great cordless vacuum 👍🏼

I have a very big apartment (robotic vacuum always gets lost!), no pets and no carpets. I understand that Jimmy JV51 is the pick for me? Or will I get more benefit from the more expensive models?
@DeusExAstra5 жыл бұрын
I have it, it's good. If you get it you probably wont be disappointed.
@crogs5714 жыл бұрын
They have the JV83 now that comes with the carpet roller too. There's a PET version with the carpet roller and the king version without but has an extension hose and some soft brush, with slightly stronger suction.

I’m so adult I watch vacuum reviews on KZbin. You are niche and I love you
@joelb78465 жыл бұрын
The only issue I have with these reviews is they don't take longevity into consideration. A vacuum may work fine for cleaning, but it may not hold up over the test of time, which doesn't make them cost effective.
@Steamrick5 жыл бұрын
True, but sadly this is something that's almost impossible for a single individual to test for that many vacuums, especially since there's also the difference between a vacuum always doing the same thing in some automated rig or actually getting used in a home.
@confusedwhale5 жыл бұрын
@@Steamrick: Yeah, it truly isn't. And longevity depends mostly on how well the vacuum is taken care of, whether it's treated well or beaten into the ground.
@andreah46965 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Especially since Consumer Reports no longer recommends any Dyson vacuums due to the short lifespan.

A really helpful guide! I was in a bit of a dispute with myself whether I wanted to got for Dyson V8 or V10, however still not ruling out other brands. I just know that Dyson performs well, and dont really want to cheap out on something such as a vacuum. I watched the entire thing in case there was a noteworthy budget option, though was mainly aiming for the midrange. The tests you ran were realistic in the actual use of the vacuum, and helped me to decide on my winner based on the information you presented. I am going for Dyson v10. I know that it is fairly expensive, but as you said with the recent price drop it is a really good option. Thanks you so much for your help! Definitely subbing:)

@@VacuumWars I can't wait for the 2020 version. Maybe once a year wouldn't be so bad. Lots of research and time efforts! Best reviews I've seen. Maybe you you consider getting into flat irons and blow dryers. Beauty hot tools are always a hard task for women who are tired of getting their hair fried (LIKE ME, HA!) and want to spend a decent amount of money on these. BUT WAIT A SECOND... Maybe Dyson will outdo every other brand again lol! Anywho, I love how unbiased your reviews are.
