I don’t use cheese on top of the casserole. It turns hard after being out of the oven for 10 minutes

Sorry sweetheart you forgot the eggs. Check with Paula Dean she would be upset. That’s the recipe she serves at her restaurant with the eggs

Sorry hun but you're wrong about the Paula Deen recipe calling for eggs. I double checked both her website and her video for the Southern corn casserole and neither calls for eggs. I'm sure that adding eggs is a good addition depending on your personal taste though.
