By no means will I ever compare myself to Brian and his adversity. I m working my way back from a minor injury and complacency the past 2 years. Tired of settling. My mission is to get back on track, healthy and strong to be a good example to my kids. Watching Brian and his story is a major pick me up to get off my ass and get the work done. Because of him I've mixed in Strongman routines into my normal workouts. Those are some of my funnest days.

I like that this video showed up on my feed. I haven't seen your videos in a while but I used to watch you a lot. One of my favorite things you've said is that you never wear sports jerseys because you'd never want another man's name on your back. That always stuck with me. Great video, watching you train gets me amped up.

Great job Brian. The nice thing about manual labour as exercise is that you have the dual gains of building something while also building your body. Regarding your shoulder, I would take a look at various shoulder mobility tests, search for those, and perhaps this one more specifically "behind back reach test" will show you some images of what this is. Basically use a broomstick or maybe a band to get it stretched.

I recently tried pullups with two ropes, kind of like Briana setup, and I realized that I have been missing out on a lot of gains by not using ropes earlier. I dont find pullups hard on my grip at all anymore, but when yu hold onto ropes there's a big diff! I also think it's better for the tendons in your hands. My fingers always hurts after my sets, but not when I use ropes.

Hey, Brian. How you doing? I come from a calisthenics background and I watch a lot of videos about it, I just felt like I should tell you that most of the top guys suggest that the handstand push-up should be done with your body the other way around, you should be facing the wall and incline your body forwards when you get down, that way is a lot safer for the shoulders. Idk, just thought it might help you. I'm still light years away from being able to do that haha
