Do you need to own a copy of the guitar pro software to use the files you provide on patreon? Or can your files be used as stand-alone?

Bernth can we get an ‘incorporating chords into shredding’ course? Really something I find difficult to do in a musical way x)

Starting to practice today (for reference I'm a bassist learning guitar) Day3: currently I can play along to the 80 bpm, its messy but in time, getting better. Day7: I can play along to the 80 bpm cleanly.

Such a great workout video because all of these are easy to move around the neck and let you experiment with different shapes. Just another great video as well as and it’s nice to have a fresh practice routine to start off a guitar session rather than repeating the same old things over and over to get started

I play guitar for 3 month now and can fairly play along the slow variants. Are these supposed to be beginner lessons or more for advanced players? Just to know better where I am at…

for the part around 4:30, is it bad if my pinky slightly touches the string underneath? I can't seem to only play the one string i need with my pinky finger
@Lif3OfAMV3 ай бұрын
only if you're playing the strings at the same time, of course you want to aim for "perfect" technique, but in this case it won't be ultra harmful.

@arek123456789ful8 ай бұрын
How long are you playing guitar ? I mean i'm playing only 1.5 year and the medium speed is possible. I can say it's not that easy but it is playable.
@squeaker28828 ай бұрын
just play it in tempo you can play it clean
@thomasbickerdike57537 ай бұрын
Yeah, it literally doubles in tempo going from 40 bpm to 80 bpm which is a bit too much of a leap for me. I figured out that you can just change the playback speed in the youtube player though. So if you play the "slow" section at 1.25 speed that will be 50bpm. Then go up to 1.5 (60bpm), 1.75 (70bpm) then you can go onto the medium section at 80 bpm :)

I had a question to everyone, do you find Ex 5 easier if you start on an up stroke instead of a down stroke?

Yes. I imagine it would be easier with a cutaway acoustic.

in the actual lessons do you show the scale name in the examples? if we are learning something on the internet assume we know nothing lol. i mean you can just write it at the top next to EX.
@darkpbr20 күн бұрын
its only to improve speed
@thenickseditious20 күн бұрын
@darkpbr what in the title indicates that? When he is talking about scales why not show them? My point was if I'm paying for his "lessons" am I going to learn anything? Everyone can play fast bro but if you don't know what your playing it sounds like shit.
@darkpbr20 күн бұрын
@@thenickseditious There must certainly be different types of content, but anyone can play fast, you can also use the same argument to say that anyone can learn scales or anything
