I was stationed in Thule Air Base in 1986-7. When you could get away from the base, the quiet was amazing! Also, drop a chunk of iceberg in a drink, it will slowly fizz as it melts. Cool video!

+Skankpronger I completely understand what you're saying and where you're coming from. That was my question too (about drinking from the glaciers and icebergs) BUT in Greenland, this is where they get their water from. This is the source and we got the chance to drink straight from it. The people here drink this water all of the time and have for years and year. This isn't the problem when it comes to icebergs melting and getting smaller. We can thank global warming for that.

"We need to protect this" The best way would be to leave Greenland and their inhabitants alone. And let them decide how they want to live and run their land. These interventions have created serious distortions in Grenlandic society, what turned once happy and peaceful nation into world's most sad, depressive and suicidal community. Every single family(not exagerating) in Greenland faces depressions, suicides, conflict ridden relationships, alcoholism and many more terrible things because of imposed European values. Western people just don't care. Indian genocide and their current miserable life in indian reservations was a lesson to learn. But Western value pupil missed his class again.
@ululinannguaqolsen52127 жыл бұрын
britiw duuude.... 1. Really, every person in Greenland lives like that? 2. Those problems (that EVERYONE now have) in Greenland are now Europien's fault? Sorry boi, I think something is wrong here
