Love all of these albums in the video. Good to see Convulsing getting talked about. Here's some to add to this list that I absolutely love, and some you guys might've missed... Resin Tomb Exocrine Hideous Divinity Swampbeast Apparition VLTIMAS Antichrist Siege Machine Umbra Vitae Severe Torture Cognitive Hell:On Adversarial Tzompantli Terminal Nation Benighted Suffer (USA) Skeletal Remains Chainsword Spectral Voice Replicant Atræ Bilis Chapel of Disease Vredehammer Slimelord Civerous Apes Vomit The Soul Darkened Fractal Generator Hyperdontia Really surprised Civerous and Slimelord weren't featured on the video, honestly. I think only Ulcerate comes close to those 2 albums this year, as DM goes. Also, Benighted was much better than Aborted' release for me. And generally I prefer Aborted.

@@forgemastermetal They are also one of the very few bands where I think that bass tone totally works (along with Obscura, Ne-O, and of course Cynic at times). Others have tried to incorporate it and it often just sounds out of place in the mix. But with YFAC, it always fits perfectly.

Job For A Cowboy is the most surprising band on this list. These guys went from "briee, brieeee" to Sun Eater and Moon Healer. Absolutly insane. The themes of the last two albuls (to me of course (subjective)), are incredible.

I can kind of relate to not being overly thrilled with the death metal this year so far, but I am stoked about a new 200 Stab Wounds album. Darkened out of Sweden also just dropped a new album a few days ago and it's pretty solid if you have not checked them out before.

Don't know how the band itself pronounce it, but it comes from Lovecraft, and in Lovecraft's case, I don't think the p is sounded.

To give some love to Melodic Death. I think people should defintiely check out the Nightrage album that came out in May, the Words of Farewell Ep that came out in March, and the Hiraes album that came out in January. If you want something else that's more brutal/technical then check out Cognitive's album from May. Great list/vid guys.
