LC LC2 5 gallon jug. Reading comments on Amazon show a lot of people complaining how the caps that Amazon sell for the LC2 do not fit. I should have read the comments first. Maybe there are two versions of the LC2?

Here’s the thing with these, the plastic hose is not rated for gasoline. After about a year, they get brittle and will break.

The Lid/Cap they say will fir on Amazon do not have the right thread and will not work. Will be returning two very soon back to Amazon.

The Lid or some people say Cap has cracked and will leak gas as you pour. I can't find a replacement Lid/Cap anywhere. Need some help!

Does the hose leak where it threads in the cap? How does the cap seal off when tightened down and filling up bike?

No the thread didn’t leak. You do have to make sure it’s tight enough, the small cap for air flow when it’s completely full of gas and I am pouring sometimes it will leak but if I’m careful it doesn’t

@@dirtbikesam Gotcha, on my VP jugs the insert in the cap will and I put tape around it to. Seems to be the weakest link I wished they made the cap/with an insert was a different design for what they cost.

What tool do you use to tighten the red stopper if you’re not using the pour?

Good question I don’t have a specific tool las time I used a set of pliers haha

@@dirtbikesam I was told today the red cap is only for shipping to keep debris out of tank. I threw mine away after I screwed the pour tube on.

1/2 in ratchet is what is used for the red stopper.
