Thanks!! It’s awesome. Lots going on in it too sweet & Salty (raisins/olives) and soft & crunchy (couscous/chickpeas)

Awesome, I have the exact same dehydrator. Love it but, only ever done fruit with it.

My kid is always wanting nutritious, high calorie food. Problem is, he's super picky, doesn't like olives 😑

Oh nice! It’s a great machine! I haven’t tried fruit yet, which ones do you find work best in the dehydrator?

@mikebikercanada I've had best results with apples & pears, they're addictive so just be sure not to over eat. Bananas are a little on the chewy side, not crunchy like store bought that has additives, but obviously healthier. Good for adding to cereals, yogurt or to use in baking such as muffins. Strawberries in season are also on the chewy side but also good for above mentioned uses. 👌 I'm nervous about trying to make jerky though 😬

@mikebikercanada Oh and I tried a fruit & yogurt leather recipe that tasted alright, but didn't quite dry very well 😒

cant we do the olives in the oven just as chickpeas?

Unfortunately the oven only goes as low as 170. And the recommended temp for olives is 135. BUT .. there’s no harm in trying!
