I used a kit from Goldenmotor to convert my 4 wheel bike car. It was easy to install and with 4 people and a heavy bikecar we had it going 50km/h with 48 volts no problem. Will buy another for a future conversion soon. Great guys to deal with!

Most already assembled ETrikes have Hub motors. They only ones I have seen that weren't was British made.

The washer with the tab does not provide any safety at all in this fork. If it is shorter so that it's goes into the notch of the fork it would provide some sort of additional torque stabilization, but in this configuration it does nothing that a regular washer would not do anyway.

What would happen if you put the electric front hub on the back tire in comparison? I live in bc Canada and it’s wet here pushing your self on a bike is easier then having it pull you as there’s so much torque with electric motors have you ever tried it? Especially if I’m going to be spending 1000 bucks a kit I want to know as I have 3 trikes I’d do it to

The watts of the motors are fairly low. The higher the watts the more pulling force and stress you place on the front fork. Despite this i need to mention that the Fork STEM of a bike is not designed to pull a bike, rider and cargo. The force of the pull of the motor can eventually cause metal fatigue in the stem which can cause the front fork to break off probably when in use. This can cause severe injury to the rider. I am merely stating the fact. I think that the mid drive motor is safer for a trike since the rear hub is not an option. I will admit that I myself have a trike with a front hub motor at this time but plan on making a transition.

I purchased the "5 KW BLDC Motor Air Cooled" and "VECTOR 300 Series Brushless Motor Controller (5 kW Motors)" for the manufacture of electric cars. And I connected these two devices. After that, I upload the program parameter value to the controller and try to drive the motor, but it is severely vibrating and the motor does not turn.
