I work in rescue and we use Ruffwear harnesses alot as they are concidered more durable and escape proof. They also make Ruffwears with a 3rd strap for around their abdomen which is extra great if you have a wiggly dog, one that likes to roll over, or for slim/sighthound type breeds. Have had a lot of people being anti-harness because they think it just allows the dog to pull more. Harnesses are not supposed to stop pulling, they are supposed to take pressure off the neck and prevent damage to the throat area. Reward based, force free training, is the best way to get a dog to walk with a lovely loose lead.
