For a first Rolex , oyster perpetual is not a best start but its always lovely to have a submarine no date or date in the collection

Only if you have bought it retail. Selling or trading your watch into a grey dealer, you will lose money.

I agree especially if bought at Msrp from an authorized dealer or on the secondary market for a reasonable price not a price that is super high because the model was super hyped for example the stainless steel Panda Daytona at one point was trading at around $50k USD I think, but now it’s trading at around $30k USD pre owned but in mint condition with box and papers. Need to have a very good relationship with a local Rolex authorized dealer and years of loyalty plus a substantial purchase history, I would consider the stainless steel Panda Daytona a good first watch at $30k if it can be afforded, being very difficult to get from an authorized dealer it should be able to go up in value and probably break even maybe make a small profit or at the very least only loose very little money but not really if one holds on to it long enough one should be able to make a profit on it.❤😅😅😅😅😅

If you sell a watch you will always lose a lot of money, since no watchdealer will give you near what you've paid for it. They have to make a profit and pay their staff , you know. And I would say, for your fist watchset yourself first a budget before choosing a brand or model. Rolexes are not cheep you know
