@@YourSaltwaterGuideinteresting, thanks. I do use it for a couple scenarios but I can't tell you the number of fish I have seen lost by guys using 60# or 80# hollow and a hand spliced wind on. Gotta be in the dozens at this point and they blame everything but the hollow. I do load my 50N's with 130# hollow but I don't fish wind ons. I actually tie a bimini in the hollow and then use the doubled line to tie an Albright with my mono. Why? Many moons ago a deckhand on a LR boat showed it to me and it hasn't busted on me yet. I just like the line capacity and ability to splice in new line with hollow on the big reels. Other than that I'm with you. Uni to uni except I like 4 mono wraps and 8 braid wraps for some reason. I actually tie a uni knot to basically all my terminal tackle as well but I'm gonna give this a go as it seems simple. Thanks again.
