Always interesting to hear your view on makeup, Morgan! Me, 57 years old with dry skin, stick to the Dior Forever Skin Glow, and have for some years. Since powder is an absolute no-no since it dries the skin further, I set the foundation by dabbing on Charlotte Tilbury’s setting spray with a damp makeup spunge. Lasts all day, easy 14-16 hours. Now and then I buy som other foundation, but no one else has ever worked for me. Am rather tempted to finally give Nars a try, though…. 😊

I adore the Hourglass skin tint for an everyday look. However, I snagged the Tom Ford traceless foundation stick on sale. I like that one, too. I don’t like the whole foundation look. The Tom Ford can be customized to suit my style. I use a foundation brush and swipe a tiny bit on my face where I want it. It is great to cover my hyperpigmentation & spot concealing any blemishes. Thank you for recommending it.

Dry skin girlie here! This video contained almost all of my faves 😻. I regularly use the NARS, Tom Ford, Haus Labs, and Wet n Wild! I would like to try the Hourglass once I use something up (I try not to have too many foundations on the go at once). One fave of mine that wasn’t mentioned is the L’Oreal Age Perfect 4 in 1 tinted balm. It has a unique texture and never lets me down even if my skin is a bit flakey.

I have super Duper dry skin and I’m starting to get wrinkles in places I never had them before. But I really like the iT Cosmetics powder foundation illumination. I put really good moisturizer on, then use a big fluffy brush to put the powder on and spray a glowy setting spray. I let it dry a couple minutes, then take a beauty blender and kinda blend it in. It has medium coverage but doesn’t get cakey or flaky. But it Hass to be the illumination version.

I agree with you regarding good skin care. I am 66 years old, with dragon scaly dry skin. I have a great skincare routine, and at my age I prefer full coverage foundations with a matte finish. It’s just what I prefer. I don’t like skin tints. My favorite foundations are actually the KVD good Apple both the cream and liquid, Juvia’s Place matte foundation, and Nars soft matte. I also use either Huda’s Glowish primer or the Tatcha silk canvas primer. My makeup lasts 12 hours and it always looks good. Skin care does have to be religious though. I am interested in the Tom Ford- too bad about it going away.

I adore you Morgan but there is dry skin and then there is DRYYYY skin lol. I am the latter of the two where no matter what foundation I use I never get oily by the end of the day! In terms of the TF stick, it is as dry as it gets no matter the skin prep. I have a solid moisturizing skin care regime down pat with La Mer creams, serums and other moisturizing serums, oils, day and night, etc. and it took 3 years to find that regime and I do not deviate from it. I use prescription Retin A in the highest form 0.1. I live in a very dry climate with snow in the winter and it's hard to find good foundations. What I've found over the years that really works is Chanel Sublimage Le Teint cream foundation. Pricy yes, but moisturizing to the nines. It's gorgeous on the skin and does not dry my skin out like 99% of the other foundations on the market. Thank goodness I only put on a full face of makeup 2-3 days a week or I'd go through it but it lasts me a long time. Thanks for all you do chica, love you and your vids! ❤❤❤

My favorite at the moment is the Lancome TEINT IDOLE ULTRA WEAR CARE & GLOW SERUM FOUNDATION. I usually apply it with a damp beauty blender to achieve a thin almost invisible application. However, as nice as that foundation is, my skin looks the best when I wear no foundation. I have an even skin tone ... no problems that need to be "covered" ... so a well-moisturized face always looks the best on me. I always apply blush for some added color, usually a little concealer, and all the normal stuff on my eyes and lips.

I also loved Dior Backstage (which I can use to dial down glow or add wear time to foundations when mixed in) KVD Good Apple BALM full coverage foundation balm is my go to for just adding coverage as it mixes well and wears well on dry skin for super full coverage. And ColourPop Pretty Fresh Foundation is such a solid medium coverage hydrating beautiful finish foundation … L’Oréal Freshwear 24 hr foundation is really good too for the price but I’d opt for the ColourPop cuz it’s cheaper and I prefer finish cuz I can make it more long wearing by using certain primers and setting sprays !

Thanks for the review and list! I like the DMB skin tint for everyday use to work and apply a little bit of my Tower 28 concealer in areas that need more coverage. Still, it's one I'm on the fence about repurchasing. For context, I have very dry , sensitive skin with eczema on my and body, so finding something moisturizing with buildable medium coverage is my goal. One that I got a sample of and have been loving is the Glossier Stretch Fluid Foundation. It keeps me moisturized and lasts a good 10-12 hours! Living in New York, the weather wrecks my skin as it gets colder and makes me dryer and dehydrated. Have you tried the Givenchy Prism Libre Skin Glowing Foundation? My skin allergist recommended it to try as it has no SPF (I can only tolerate mineral SPF), doesn't contain synthetic fragrance, and is one of those luxury brands that sources their ingredients from proprietary botanicals with a closed water system - or so he said. I try to only have one base product at a time, might consider two once the primary one is running low so I'm researching for the next Sephora Sale in Spring 2024 to purchase.

I have balanced to dry skin (some areas are really crusty lol) but I also have a lot of texture and discoloration, so I'm trying to find a good foundation that is full coverage but not matte or drying. Yes I do moisturize well and can get my skin to be just balanced prior to putting on makeup, but after a few hours it often gets more crusty and cakey especially in my dry areas. Also I kinda just wanna look a bit glowy. Although I'm totally fine with more of a satin finish as well. My current foundation is a medium coverage, hydrating one with satin finish from Isadora, and while I love its formula, it's so sheer on my skin that honestly... I might as well not even bother with putting it on. And so I haven't lately. And although it says it's buildable, applying any more than just a thin layer instantly looks cakey as fuck on me. And I can't reasonably put concealer on half my face to make up for that. That would probably also just make me cakey anyway. My skin is a bit prissy when it comes to layering haha. This is really good information though and I hadn't thought of that maybe drugstore brands just don't have what I'm looking for. I'm not opposed to buying some more high end makeup but I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend, and it's not as easy to just experiment with something that costs half my paycheck. But I'm intrigued to maybe try that NARS foundation, as it's not too over priced and seems like maybe it could work for me.

My friend got the wrong shade, used it like twice trying to make it work but she just gave it to me. I've had it for I think like 6 months trying to make it last cuz $90 is crazy. I was ecstatic when I saw Morgan's post letting us know of the sale. When I saw that it was close to half off, I knew that this was a "discontinued" sale. Sales that low especially on high end items usually means its getting discontinued, selling the rest. I'm so bummed💔😮😅😅😮😮😮😮I don't even know why they need to discontinue it😓 Its an amazing foundation. Thankfully I bought two and thank you Morgan for the heads up. Hey in the tom Ford stick I'm not finding shade 4.5 ivory. I'm your same shade and I really want to try it. Can you help me find it?

Maybe a tutorial for dewy full coverage. I literally suffered listening to all this mess and most of it was light and middle coverage Quick direct videos are far more appreciated
