It's good that you mentioned some LCDs as well. A lot of people use the same monitor for gaming and work, and having your taskbar / browser side panel / etc., burned into an OLED screen after 3 years isn't great (and "burn-in compensation" just burns the _rest_ of the screen to match the worst areas). As a gamer on SEA, Samsung g6 oled seems to be the cheapest and readily available oled monitor. Got mine on sale for 570 usd converted Will you review the monitor and how does "VRR Control" differ from asus and others? It seems to still go down low(60hzish based on osd) without flicker compared to others implementation which limits the range tremendously

The price of the Q27G3XMN in the video is actually pretty close to the cost of it where I live, €299. Accounting for the fact that US prices are without tax, that is probably even cheaper than the US price.

I don't fully agree with the way this is being presented. The only good monitors you showed are oleds with the only non oleds being the budget monitors. I think for every oled recommendation there's has to be an non oled option for those who don't want to spend $1000 on a panel that will destroy itself with burn-in within a few years. I have a LG C2 as a TV, I think its fantastic, but buying a monitors that's oled is in my opinion very dumb because of the use cases and massive amounts of static images monitors go through. best 1440p that isn't oled or budget? best ultrawide that isn't oled or budget? best HDR monitor that isn't oled or budget? no review channel ever goes into this now that oleds are so prominent.

I hope one day you will include "best mixed use" in categories like ultrawide. I'm in the process of selecting new monitor and no oled made it to the finals I ended up with 3 monitors. Thanks for a very helpful video. Your review helped me pick up the AOC G27G3XMN for my wife! She plays mostly single player story based games as well as some content creation. The HDR and VA panel are perfect for her and she is happy. I however want an Ultrawide 1440p, but i cant afford the prices of Ultrawide OLEDs, what are my choices? I'm surprised you haven't included any budget options in this category. I am aware that there don't seem to be any new non OLED Ultrawides. Are options from a few years ago worth it?
