In the last Q&A video I showed the question on the screen while I was answering. This time I didn't do that. Do you think I should keep the question on the screen while answering or does it not really make much of a difference? My book on Amazon (please leave a rating/review)- amzn.to/3oDyhph

As long as it's on screen in text or something, or voiced clearly. Even leaving a small bullet point time stamp in tiny text left in the corner of the video for the entire video

Agreed, Gram per watt is trash.... just grow some dank and have fun. Keep the mighty 5 in tact. Temp, Humidity, water, feeding, and soil. Dont over complicate a simple growing process. Or you might make mistakes that will cost the health of your plants. Great video Chris.
@gandalf8216

Less is more outside the commercial bubble where consistency is more important, and they don't use gram per watt but gram produced per dollar spent, furthermore averaged over production runs. I say to beginners to find grow diaries for their particular cultivar, and make growth comparisons on a per week basis. E.g week two of flowers looks like this picture and that guy got that particular quantity and quality with his particular setup, now how does my plant look in comparison with my equipment taken into consideration. As an elaboration, or rationale, to the sensible mantra of "if it grows fine, you're probably fine". Premature optimization is almost always a bad idea, if a run were subpar, improve your next run. It's all a never-ending learning adventure to grow, and we all acquire experience from our successes, and even more so, our failures.

@@kylemorrison5644 this big shift to cold water is ment to be a way to make the plant think its going into winter and makes it put more work into growing buds. Not too sure if this is enough tho as your in F where here in aus I use C

Don’t water in dark period, risks soggy feet, root rot, mould pathogens (not the good kind) and worst of all breeding ground for fungus gnats and the larvae production. Water when lights come on.

Try not to water at night, my buddy had indoor plants plants that he watered at the night during winter but the power went out so the room lost its heat and the plants got stunted for about a week and a half, but by all means if you feel your plants need the water that night then do it
@fadedmass1662
@fadedmass1662 3 жыл бұрын
I usually water in the morning. Sometimes later in the day if I'm having trouble keeping humidity where I want. Watering at lights on seems to raise my average humidity for the day. Which I can use to my benefit at times or water later to help reduce it some. I'm not sure if plastic pots would have the same effect. I'm using 4 gallon fabric pots and they need soaking everyday, so I guess they are my humidifiers. I think this shows the benifits of watering at lights on too. In part the increased humidity is increased perspiration and photosynthesis which is soaking up more nutes in the process.

Hey Chris I have really enjoyed the feedback of your viewer question videos it definitely helps with the beginner and intermediate grower with some of the challenges of getting to a full harvest. My question is how do you get your seedlings to grow at a rapid pace without having them be over watered or to much nutrients . It’s frustrating when they grow so slow I found transplanting them every 10 days seems to help with the growth As long as they’re rooting fast enough then once they hit 1-2 gal they take off

not schilling here, though recharge also has humic and fulvic acids unless that's changed. Recharge is a potent product for the price. Friend of mine uses organic soil and has incredible results inoculating with recharge. Better for veg though as the bacteria are geared for nitrogen uptake. I'd recommend Mammoth P if u wanna use microbes with Kool bloom.

I just wanted to share some thoughts with everyone. To all of you new growers out there, and some of you experienced growers, there is more than one right way to grow pot. This isn't directed towards anyone on this channel. I'm speaking about people I have met. It's rude to go up to someone else that grows and force your growing style onto someone else. Saying things like "bottled nutrients suck, throw them away" or "don't do this or that" is wrong. I have learned over the past 15 years, from experience and knowing lots of other growers, that each person is good at their own way of doing it. All of the traditional methods work great. But, not everyone is going to be good at the method you chose. For example, I suck at hydroponics. But, there are tons of people out there that have a lot of success at it. But, it would be wrong for me to go around telling everyone that hydro is the wrong way to grow pot. This is purely an example. I have had people tell me that bottled nutrients suck. And, I should only use teas and dry amendments. And, they would say it with anger in their voice. Each person out there has to figure out which style fits you. That's the right way to grow. And, once you find a way that works don't change it! Keep doing it that way. I learned that one the hard way. It's taken me 1.5 years to get back to the way I used to do it after changing nutes twice. So, to all of you new growers don't be all cocky and overconfident just because you recently learned a couple of professional tips. Respect the way other growers grow.
