I made this one tonight.. Everyone loved LOVED it!! It does have a lot of salt in it but I think that may have just been me being heavy handed.. Next time.. and there WILL be a next time.. I am only going to salt and pepper the chicken as it shows, add salt into water for the gnocchi and then not salt the tomatoes after they are added into the pan with the chicken. I think that the starchy salt water that transfers over from the gnocchi pot, when scooping it out, will make the salt content perfect. Thank you for a most wonderful dish.. Everyone coming in to dinner said that the fragrance of the dish was heavenly!! cheri :)

Made this and it was delicious! One thing I changed was that I pan fried the gnocchi. For the next time I would add more tomatoes and less salt, but definitely a keeper!

What a yummy recipe! I think I'll try it with chicken thighs this week :) The garlic trick is great, I've been using it for a few weeks now and it is a gamechanger lol! No more mincing garlic or pulling out the garlic-press--and it doesn't require much skill or finessing.

Anindya Prusty gnocchi are made of potatoe dough, other pasta most likely not, so it will taste a bit different but surely great as well

i've never been able to get down making garlic paste with a chef's knife. i just gave up and got a mortar & pestle lol. i feel like a lot of the oil gets lost and absorbed into the board as well.

😋😋😋 I am SO making this! Looks so bloody good. I am a bit rubbish at cooking my chicken breast on the pan without burning it or over cooking till it’s tough. So I usually finish it off in the oven. Any tips on how to get it well done and soft in the pan? Thanks x

Sara you should totally try this method! When you add the tomatoes to the pan they add a bit of moisture and will help the chicken to be nice and tender! :)
