This is the first recipe I've ever seen that uses the amount of garlic I would realistically use. When I saw you add the extra raw garlic on top of the cooked garlic, that's when I knew you were a real one 👌

I dont think you can cook to this level in a restaurant if you dont have ONLY prep chefs. Just the time you spend choping...you need loads of prep in advance. But it is a pleasure to watch.

I like how almost all Chinese chefs never tell you how much (grams, spoons, liters, or cups) the ingrediens are. Even if you ask them they wouldn't know. Because everyone's taste is different. You just have to feel it and work accordingly. Haha

I may not be able to duplicate the dish like this great chef. But I could sure learn a lot by just watching his techniques. I can taste and smell the aroma of the hot oil on the garlic and scallions. Thanks.

Sleeping Beauty did u use cold tap water to soak the veges or refrigerated water? As for noodles is it cold tap water or it’s hot water?

@@piprolls867 the veges just tap water. My knife skills not that amazing so it wasn't that perfect. For the noodles I recommend warm water buy personally not a fan of the noodle so I skipped that part

I tried making this dish with squid instead of prawns cause I don't have fresh prawns. Since I do have fresh squid I used that instead and it turned out absolutely delicious. Next time I will try this with scallops.

Actually, after the prawns are steamed, they are already to be served. There is no need to pour cooking oil for health conscious people because the prawns will taste great even without the oil.
