i play live and im tired of being out of tune using my capo, doesnt matter if i tighten it or loosen it having issues on the A Chord. So spending $70-80 bucks is worth it to me.

@@johnnypavel7675 I actually have 2 G7 capos. One works fine, the other vibrates audibly. I bought both second hand, so I'm guessing the audible one suffered some kind of trauma from it's previous owner. I actually prefer Shubb capos.

People complaining about the price don’t realize that it’s worth it, sure you can get any old cheap capo and do the same thing, however the quality and build of the Thalia capo is definitely worth it, and since is universal it’s worth investing in at least one.

for 5 bucks you get a piece of crap that may cause buzz or out of tune strings or poor tone. If you don't care about that, go for it. Otherwise get a good capo. You get what you pay for.

@@davidtrevor9027 I bought a cheap capo from GC about 10 years ago, it's called a Bird Of Paradise capo made by Dunlop. Cost me $10 bucks back then, it's still made today and costs between $15-$20 bucks. Worked then, still works just fine now.

Got one and went back to using my Shubb. Was a gift so I had to use for a little while just too be nice. Very well made and looks cool, but not practical. Way too big and fat and will not stay put when you get close enough to it with you fret hand. Not enough bite down to hold it in place especially on my Es-335 12 string, which it was gifted to me for.

I had one. It broke quite quickly. It didn't improve the apparent problems (apparent from Thalia themselves but not from personal experience) inherent in cheaper capos, all of which have worked perfectly for years longer than the Thalia; I recorded an entire acoustic album in which I capo'd guitars, bouzouki, mandolin, tenor guitar and banjo and not once did my £15 capo fail. Nice present, I'd never have paid for one myself, but a terrible product. Last the rest of my life? hah etc Also, this is a sponsored video. I'm not sure why you try to present a company giving you products in exchange for an advert with them being nice. If they get five sales through giving you three capos to talk about, it was worth it to them.

I bought one that arrived damaged, after a month of not hearing back from them I left an honest negative review, then they contacted me almost immediately and offered me a deal that was already currently advertised. Claimed they couldn’t replace it due to supply. It doesn’t play as well as all these KZbin people claim and for the money it is cheaply made and customer service is useless. Save your money!

Pretty to look at, but big, heavy, and clunky to use. I did not see any difference musically between it and my Shubbs. I think it's over hyped, and over priced. I returned it for a refund and had to wait a week for the refund . Very slow response from customer service when trying to get the return instructions, several unanswered emails, and phone calls that went to voicemail every time.

Just bought one of these because of all the hype. It looks great and the people at Thalia seem nice enough. BUT... it pulls the guitar out of tune because of too much pressure. BTW my guitars are all high end and not crap guitars. I’ll stick with my G7th and Shubb which have adjustable pressure and keep it in tune.

jammin4good is it at all possible that you have a high tension insert in when you should have a low tension insert in? Or have you tried playing with the different inserts? Just trying to help. Or you can box it up and send it to me. I’ll get it figured out. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Jake Ruiz I am using the insert that came with it which is a 12” radius low tension which is the correct one for my Duesenbergs. The problem seems to be that you have no ability to adjust the tension like on the G7th. I have a pretty good ear (plus confirmed with my Peterson strobe tuner) and it is definitely pulling the strings out of tune.
