It's always funny when aliens find redundant safety back ups as a sign of paranoia or militant thinking.

Dude was wearing an armor with 2 layers designed to sustain atmospheric re-entry... The fact that he was wearing an armor allowing him to drop from the orbit to the ground is already sign of militant thinking. Because who except for army, and army aggressive enough to drop foot soldiers from the orbit, would need stuff like this?

I thought that at first then he started describing things only space marines had but then again I do believe the author was going for a kinda spartan II/space marine hybrid so I guess none of our assumptions are wholly wrong.

Okay I have a good question Which video is the one where humanity has been dead for a couple hundred years and some aliens find a cryopod that they think just has some ancient human technology in it the only find out there's an actual human in it who ends up saving one of them from some raiders by crushing once calling them blowing the other two apart with a from what I picked up from the description a Halo combat evolved Magnum? I remember listening to it several times but as of late I just can't find it which is very odd because I just listened to it a few weeks ago and when I tried to look through my history I couldn't find the video or I just forgot the name of it if anyone knows exactly what I'm talking about please send me a link to it because I really want to watch that again

Stephan Baxter imagined a species determined to survive millions of years. In the large story series all stars were dying in only millions of years, but if the Silver Ghosts ( 1 meter spheres and cybernetic, maximum survival traits for space living ) did live in a Universe like this one with stars that lasted billions of years...they would probably try to survive until Heat Death or whatever is max entropy. So this story has a ten meter sphere that is like a Silver Ghost multiplied by 20 + Cyber Soldier...at least that is my impression. What is examined by the Aliens is that 10 meter sphere, but it came out of a larger Spaceship; if all the systems and the Spaceship were at full capability this would be more impressive. Even near dead and dormant it already has impressive specs.

hmm... ''lest to ther own devices or courted as allies''... suggests... they have a semi standard approach if the faction/species/civilization not displays such extreme ..endurance... and military capabilities.. they are not shy about abusing that... somehow , unless its 40 k style humans... wich the humans words suggests not.... that fact alone likely make any atempts by this ..faction.. to court the humans as allies counter productive as it likely only make such humans consider it .....malicious ?... in nature just a desire to 'keep your foes close' until able to atempt brute force subjugation or such

People screw up so there is safeties redundancy passwords door knobs etc etc etc you stumble you fallen accidentally fall through the door instead of doing that you stumble and fall against the door instead of falling on the floor which put you in a prone position which makes it easier for someone to accidentally attack you or step on you or if someone else tripped because someone had a bad day or something and they misplaced something accidents happen things happen without your consent because reality is a mixture between order and chaos and law and as long as chaos still exists in reality renewal will always occur as long as order exist in reality chaos won't destroy everything as long as law exists in reality then chaos and owner won't be steamrolling existence balance and equilibrium and as long as freedom the four force exist people will develop grow and cherish the time I'd rather have a person who can be a multifaceted ever developing entity than have a slave which can only be used so many times and then thrown away.
